The Big Ten Network has created a bracket to find out which Big Ten team has the best helmets. We made it through the first two rounds and now are losing by a large margin to Iowa (67.14% to 32.86% currently). There is no way Iowa has better helmets than Michigan's winged helmet. This was done by division, so we are in the divison final and would go up against the winner of Penn State and Indiana. MGoFaithful, let's show the Big Ten Network that Michigan has the best and most iconic helmets in the Big Ten. Go Blue!
Michigan losing BTN helmet vote to Iowa
Honestly, it doesn't matter. Michigan has the best helmets in the B1G. Don't give the BTN stupid HITZ by joining in this mess.
I am so tired of the meaningless bracket votes that are just blatant grabs for hits. It seems like these sites are constantly running best uniform/helmet polls.
At least things like the EA NCAA Cover vote and some year-end or weekly award votes have some tangible result.
Too bad sparty & bucknutz haters learnt too late how to log on & keep their own teams from being voted down... so now they gotta vote iowa so we don't win even this meaningless poll!!!
This is the same network that said Chris Eddins was Michigan's breakout star of 2011.
Iowa still has a big lead
Well I got it up by .20% by voting 20 times...
Penn State is in the division final?
Are you fucking kidding me? Is this really a competition we want to win?
I'm going to say... any of them. Except maybe Indiana.
A plain helmet straight from the factory sans paint and a piece of blue tape down the middle. It really is an incredibly intricate design. I can see why Penn State is in this.
Don't worry. Just vote next year when they run the same damn poll
You gives a fuck? Seriously?
I don't like to lose, at ANYTHING. I'll be up all night voting.
Have never heard Iowa's helmets mentioned with the same esteem the winged helmets are. Meaningless internet poll aside.
They're using bots. Unleash the Mgotechies ASAP.
To hell with Delaney
Who cares. The title says all you need to know about the poll. Any school/team who beats Michigan in some helmet poll knows deep down that Michigan has the best ones in football.
Such a non issue. Any poll that matters understands Michigan's helmets are top in the nation and Iowa doesn't even show up on the radar
Not a chance. Michigan has the best helmets in football, lets alone the BIG.
Every summer there's a "Oh crap Idaho State is beating Michigan's helmets". Our helmets are best, if people at crappy football schools want to spend their summers up-voting their helmets in meaningless polls then we should let them. Realitiscally, everyone knows Michigan has a top 3ish helmet depending on your opinion.
This is stupid. After NCAA Football...I am done voting in meaningless polls.
Michigan does not lose internet polls...everyone knows this. VOTE DAMMIT
This cuts deep. Oh so deep.
OP, please change thread title to "Michigan Losing BTN Helmet Vote to Guy in Iowa Basement with a Bot".
Who is responsible for this travesty? i think it's a mix of Iowa fans, ohio and sparty trolls, and and Portlandia fans.
It's not obvious to you? Indiana some how beats Ohio State and is now getting killed by Penn State. Somehow Iowa is beating Michigan now. All signs point towards Penn State fans wanting this more.
their uniforms and helmets back in the day, I believe it was late 70's or early 80's if my memory is still serving me at all. They wanted to look like a better team and or the Steelers, because they had the gaudiest uni's in the Big Ten and were anything but intimidating. I am not sure whether or not it was the uniforms or the coaching and recruiting, but they are alot better now than the auto-win they were then. Getting back to my original point (if I can remember) there is NO WAY IN HELL that their helmet is nicer than the most iconic, meanest looking, which look just as cool from behind as in the front epecially when there are a number of them making a tackle at the same time,,,,, not to mention why it was done in the first place, so the receivers would be easy to pic out downfield.
This may not matter, but Michigan was doing an excellent job gaining ground all night. Suddenly, the tide has turned. :(
