BTN Helmet Bracket Update
I realize many of you really don't care, but I like to see Michigan win everything they compete in.
The BTN is holding a Best Helmet in the Big Ten tournament. Most of us would agree there's little doubt which school should win, but our rivals are doing all they can to prevent us from winning another accolade.
We are in the semi-finals against Iowa. Yesterday we were down at one point 65% to 35%. We have closed the gap. It's now 55% to 45%. I assume if we all vote a couple of times we can even the score.

Michigan losing BTN helmet vote to Iowa
The Big Ten Network has created a bracket to find out which Big Ten team has the best helmets. We made it through the first two rounds and now are losing by a large margin to Iowa (67.14% to 32.86% currently). There is no way Iowa has better helmets than Michigan's winged helmet. This was done by division, so we are in the divison final and would go up against the winner of Penn State and Indiana. MGoFaithful, let's show the Big Ten Network that Michigan has the best and most iconic helmets in the Big Ten. Go Blue!

As is standard, the BTN is expected to threaten Maryland and Rutgers TV areas with not carrying Rutgers and Maryland games to extort cable providers to put the BTN on basic cable, which likely inspires zero interest outside of other Big Ten fans living in those areas.
After playing with the numbers a little, full BTN penetration in NY, NJ, Maryland, and DC would create about $70.8M in additional BTN revenue, which would result in about $4M additional payout per team from the BTN. That's about a 36% increase in BTN money and a 16% increase in total revenue sharing per team.
