META: MGoPoints Leaderboard

Yes, because I'm a competitive prophylactic, I'm curious to know who stands atop the MGoPoints standings.

On a broader note, has there been discussion around tiers of users on the site based on points accrual, something similar to a "verified user" on twitter, a mini-moderator, or something else along those lines? Not sure if that would encourage better or worse discourse, or even provide some support for the mods that spend non-trivial amounts of time managing this here Web Page.

A more interesting post would be those MIA bloggers. I remember 10 years ago, a lot of the regulars with high points do not post any longer. I'm sure some got kicked off the blog, others may have ran out of free time.  Some like Mineral King have left after graduating.

I've been posting here fairly regularly for 14 years. I remember the Haloscan/funkymoses days. I remember The Horror. I remember Ennui the Otter. I remember the 12-hour tenure of Coach Greg Schiano. I remember Peanut Butter Jelly Time. I remember the Freep boycott. I remember that there is no evidence Craig James killed five hookers while a student at SMU. I remember how Brady Hoke boosted the sales of Michigan jerseys in Ohio.

If you don't know, you better ask somebody.

I think when the leaderboard still existed, I was in the top five or so. I don't remember who was in front of me except I think Wolverine Devotee had a bunch of points for helping to get Dave Brandon fired.

That was my philosophy during basic training in the Army. I wanted to participate just enough that I wasn't looked at negatively but also not do too much to draw attention. Tried to be mostly invisible to anyone that mattered!! Kinda how I approach my participation on this blog!

There was, in a previous iteration of the site, a page where you could view the user listing complete with points. I am pretty sure I was in the first page or two, but I would have no clue what those listings look like now. I wonder if Seth can publish the table, if you're really curious.

There's some way for me to pull that but I forgot how. Is it this lever...or this lever.... or...
