McGary on the floor for the Thunder

Submitted by carlos spicywiener on

Just scored on two quick layups. Finally getting some playing time!

Of course, i'd prefer for him to be on the floor in Bloomington, but whatever.

I wonder if Scott Brooks will actually use him often instead of running Durant and Westbrook into the ground.

The guy wasn't dating his mother, he was just a street agent.

People on this board love to remember Crawford as the helpless victim oppressed by the big bad NCAA. Never mind all that money he took, that he was living in this guys house and driving a Mercedes 300CE while he was in high school.

McGary looks like he belongs out there. It sucks we lost him because of the NCAA but at least he's showing signs that he can be successful at this level. And that unicycle graphic just took the broadcast off the rails. I love it

Someone please find a way to post a replay of the game. I'm not home and have been waiting to see him tear it up!

This. He ended up in an awesome situation at OKC and was drafted in the first round - and is doing well now. Honestly, if you we're McGary and you knew that would be the end result he would and should have gone pro anyways, in my opinion.

I had hoped against hope he would slide to the Pistons in the second round. Of course, we probably would have passed on him.

The fans were going crazy for his energy. OKC has always been the most college like crowd/atmosphere. They're going to eat up McGary and his play.

Russell Westbrook was going NUTS watching the big man do his thing. I love the catfish Westbrook because he plays harder than anyone in the NBA and that's McGary's calling card.

They're going to feed off each other in a Burke/McGary way.

If the Thunder could get and stay healthy, they're built to be a ridiculously good team.

Congrats to McGary for all his hard work and accomplishments.  He's also obviously had some excellent coaching.  Belein's system definitely has his big men ready for the pick and roll in the NBA.
