M Basketball vs Wisconsin Game Thread

How are they roughing us up and still only committed 6 fouls?  If they aren’t going to call the Davison kind of contact to create space, why don’t we do that more?

Wisconsin is the definition of “scrappy gym rat” white guy 

Might be a Castleton game. Davis and Teske are getting torched by the stretch bigs and the switches on screens. We aren't getting the offensive production on the other end to offset what they're giving up. If we had Brooks we could probably get by with Johns and Livers in the frontcourt, but without him playing I'd see what Castleton can do for 4 or 5 mins.

Howard really needs to figure out the defense. I get that being down Brooks is really hurting the defense, but man Brad Davidson is blowing by people.

Team just getting beat off the dribble consistently on defense. Not impressive and what happens when lineups that haven’t played together get on the court at the same time. Pretty disappointing.

Also sucks that crisler is a meaningless home court advantage and does nothing to help boost the team 

Big 2nd half on the coaches, Wiskey denying the three, saying go ahead and try to beat us with 2 pt layups. Simpson isn't gonna beat them.

Like a completely different team. Getting to the hoop, open shots, not letting Wisconsin drive at will. Hope they can keep it up the entire half. Must have been a product full halftime.

We just need to keep getting healthy and at full strength. Nice run to start the half. Need to keep pushing.

Everything the team worked for just got destroyed in two possessions.

Get it to within 2 and boom they go up 10, just like the first half. This game is frustrating, Wisconsin has been in control the whole time and answers everything with a little run.

Game over. We get close then missed layups a bad Teske 3 point shot. They go down and hit 2 3 pointers.

Wisconsin always, always has an answer. In the blink of an eye you go from down 2 to down 10. 

I know there’s a lot of time left, but this just feels like one of those “just not your night” kind of games.

Teske is killing us defensively. We have no answer. Davis can't defend the perimeter and screens any better. DDJ blew easy buckets when we went small. Castleton is about the last thing left to try.
