One thing we learned by beating those powerhouse teams that had the athletes and height over the years - 3 is more than 2. Trice equalled his total for the month of February tonight and he played shitty defenses along the way too. Oh well so much crap and bad free throw shooting as well. Im sure weve gone from a 5 seed to first out in one game. Kind of joking but i dont doubt it. Ride out the storm and get to our true home court - A neutral court.

Simpson played great, showed a lot of heart, etc but there is something very wrong with your offense when he puts up 30+ points. That’s just not the way it’s designed to work. Livers completely took the night off and Teske is brutal right now. Third loss at home in conference. Very disappointing.

No, Simpson did not play great. Greg Garde gave him a free pass down the lane while our baseline boys never saw an assist for 3 come their way.

Strategy worked perfect ; point guard who can't shoot the 3,  a drives and dish for the three dude. Let him hook shot all game, cuz 2 pt shots don't get the win.

He took the bait to a career high, yippee

Really expected the coaching staff to come up with some answers, but they probably noticed they needed a point guard who can be a sniper from 3.

Jesus Christ you're a dumbass. This posts exudes more stupidity than I've seen anywhere on here ever. Who actually watches a game like this and comes to the conclusion that it was Simpson's fault?

It would be one thing if they let him do that, and he wasn't efficient. It's another thing when he scores 32 points on 22 shots, with 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 turnover despite Wisconsin guarding him that way, and with his teammates not hitting shots. Wisconsin was not going to let him pass, and Simpson took advantage and made a significant dent in Wisconsin's defense. It was not a good strategy in the end due to how efficient Simpson was. The loss is on the defense and supporting players.

If you dare a player to do something (let's say, shoot the three), because you don't think they can do it well, and they end up shooting 5/5 for 15 points; you don't laugh in their face and say "ha, you took the bait and the strategy worked." No it fucking didn't. Same shit here. Again, you're a dumbass.

Frustrating game all around. Wisconsin couldn’t seem to miss and defense didn’t do much to change that. Everyone looked a step slow or timid except Simpson and then Wagner for a stretch in the 2nd half

It was just kind of one of those games we didn’t have it.

This was a bad home loss. Oh well, we'll be lucky to win the NE game. Unless all the players play well we will lose at OSU and at Maryland. If we go 1-3 and we lose our first B1G tournament game, we will just squeak into the tournament.

Tough loss - poor D in the first half, and give Wisconsin credit - two key possessions near the end we played great D and they came up with a big 3 and a foul. They shot incredibly well the entire game.

Wisconsin also had a good defensive game plan, especially for holding a lead. Took away our threes and basically let us attack the basket.

Michigan's been playing really well of late - this one was a bit of a clunker, despite heroics of Simpson and Wagner.
