Derrick Green had a live chat today at the Army All-American Bowl. UM notes:
- Michigan has "small" lead
- Best coaching relationship is with Hoke
- Says he will still take visits even after committing soon, but just to enjoy the recruiting process
- The picture with the current commits was both for fun and something to read into

All the insidery people seem to think he's coming here, but if he doesn't it's not the end of the world in my view.
I'd rather him take all his visits and then commit. If it's not until signing day, so be it.

What has an insider said?
A. He is Blue or Michigan has a small lead OR,
Then: Said insider is a genuis/credible source
B. Recruit is looking eslewhere/taking visits elsewhere.
Then: Insider is (choose negative adjective, i.e. idiot, stupid, joke, or Ace Williams) and question validity of the source.

You're speculating based off small peices of anecdotal evidence. This is the biggest decision of his life. When I searched for a college, it wasnt like I just decided where i was going out of nowhere, I had schools "in the lead" while I was still looking elsewhere just to make sure I knew I had made the right choice.

Well you boob, no one cares about these guys if we all honest with ourselves. Sure once they play and we start to care about fantasy strangers in a weird way, but really most don't.
Most are thinking, "oh, I care I really care about their well being, and degree, but really, I really want them to score TD's and win us championship so I can brag about their accomplishments even though most of us can't do shit on a college football field but think we are all awesome football sauce.
Just leave it alone people. Leave it alone. You control nothing, and can't hope it to happen.

is will those schools still offer him an 'official' visit. One would think yes just to try and get one more chance at him, but I know Carrol when he was at USC turned down a recruits 'official visit' request because the kid was a solid commit to another school.

As much as I would prefer he just commit to us and be done with it, its his chance to check out other programs and confirm ours is the best fit for him. I admit I follow way to much recruiting info on sites and twitter, but do have the feeling he is more solid Michigan than any other schools by far. But...you never know.
