Kittens, otters, and....TURTLES??? oh my!
This is my first forum topic starter and found this idea amusing. With all the mgolove for kittens and otters(as of late) why not give respect to the turtle. I was thinking somewhere a long the lines of this...
"Ahhhhhhh!"
....ZOOOMMMM.....
"Is he gone? Phew, that was close. He was dilithium fast...on second thought, I'm just going to stay in my shell the rest of the day. I'm sure it will bolt by again soon."
Just an idea, any other thoughts or funny creatures that could play the victim of the Nard dog?

Is this like those Comcast ads? I actually love the first pic. Make it happen.

I'm pretty sure that guy in the first pic was sitting two rows in front of me at the UConn game...and I think that pic was taken right after the Terrence Robinson catch.

I'd rather use a roadrunner. Meep meep.

The tortoise and the hare.
September 14th, 2010 at 11:59 PM ^
But in this version, the hare wins...... everytime!

Not just a hare but a Belgian hare at that.

Actually, he said Turtle, not Tortoise. Tortoises are a kind of turtle, but not all turtles are tortoises. Common misconception. They're also reptiles, and thus cold-blooded. Here's some reading material:

Oh, and I should shut up now.

Does it mean im alcoholic if the minute I read this I thought, "yeah ok this makes sense. Just like all bourbons are whiskeys, but not every whiskey is a bourbon."
September 15th, 2010 at 1:10 AM ^
Well, that depends. Did you draw the corresponding Venn diagrams by using the rings of condensation from your highball glass? On your desk? Before 8 am? In front of the kindergarten class you teach?

More along the lines of wow a Beam and diet would be amazing right now, but everything u say is making more and more sense.

my spouse claims drinking has the same effect on him as well.

I don't think your thought makes you an alcoholic. Unfortunately for myself, my initial reaction after reading your post of, "Mmmmmmm.....bourbon", presents more serious implications.
September 14th, 2010 at 11:58 PM ^
I like it. I say run with it.
September 15th, 2010 at 12:11 AM ^
I see what you did there.

In dilithiums world slow and steady never wins the race.

in dilithiums world race wins you!

Yay, fun with animals! Between the hare and tortoise, I prefer the hare (hence bunny pictures).
Go Denard Go!
But before they realize it, it's too late. He's no longer the loveable, smiling bunny. He's here to scare the opposing team into submission...
September 15th, 2010 at 12:53 AM ^
I love that second picture, especially with the phrase "Go Denard Go!"

I liked turtles until I read in an MGoBlog thread (just today) that Illinois had some lame testidunalesque item serving as a trophy in one of their annual football matchups. Which I'd call a rivalry, but apparently Illinois and U-M have a different definition of the word. But I digress.
September 15th, 2010 at 12:56 AM ^
the Illibuck, its kind of cute actually......just like Illinois fans thinking we have a rivalry.
September 15th, 2010 at 1:24 AM ^
I'd give some minor credence to an Illinois-OSU rivalry I suppose. It's not like OSU has a natural second rival to my knowledge (PSU being a somewhat late addition), and Illinois has actually beaten OSU every time there has been a good Illinois team this millenia (twice!).
The whole "rivalry with Michigan" thing is quite silly though.
September 15th, 2010 at 9:08 AM ^
Ohio State/Indiana is some kind of rivalry, but that makes me chuckle too.
September 15th, 2010 at 8:09 AM ^
I really don't understand why this is supposed to be funny.
September 15th, 2010 at 8:43 AM ^
for opponents defenses.
You are turtles.
That is all.

a turtle that is under the influence Obviously it takes him a second to recognize what just ran by him
September 15th, 2010 at 9:37 AM ^
Is the turtle saying "AHHHHH" because Denard is about to run by him? or is that Denard noticing Roundtree blocking on the edge?
