Very telling.
he's just ripping this from the farmers almanac. not that you need to. June is always a good month for Michigan, meteorologically speaking.
Yeah, May sucked....
that Tom has gotten some good inside and secret info, which makes me happy. My birthday is in June, so it looks like it'll be even better.
TomVH consulted the Farmers Almanac - this never-ending rain must be ending!!! Oh joy!
<br>
<br>Thanks, TomVH - you're always there for us
How about May 31st, Tom? That should be a good day as well, right?
It's not in JUNE?!?!
I think he moved his announcement to June 1st.
He's referring to the SI article on OSU, which is likely to cause the gnashing of teeth and the rending of sweatervests.
He's talking about recruiting.
bdsisme meant the SI article. TomVH was obviously talking about recruiting.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Let's guess who will commit in June then.
Wayne Morgan for sure.
Jordan Diamond looks like he will commit soon probably in June.
And perhaps Burbridge? These are my 3 guesses.
I feel positive things about Magnuson following TomVH's "I disagree" to Irish's assertion that ND is in a good position with him in the Shane Callahan thread. Also, there were those rumors that Strobel was a silent commit (the second of the two that we allegedly currently have, though the second hasn't really been discussed, or even confirmed, that I know of) that I haven't really heard anything about since. But should either of those trees bear fruit in addition to Morgan, I will be a happy man.
Last word on Diamond was he was announcing at his first game of the year.
Interesting that Tom announces this on a weekend that we have visitors. Hmm.
Who is visiting? Heard Washington and Stanford changed their weekend.
tOSU gets bombed with sanctions. The flood gates will open.
<br>"I live it when a plan comes together."
live it when a plan comes together. Sanctions are far in the future. Now is just the time where we get to slit the throat and hang tSIO to drain.
It's already begun.
This is nice and all but I'd prefer November
The murder rate will go down?
not likely. water is wet, pope is catholic, and everybody murders people. cant see that changing anytime soon.
"everyone lies, cheats, murders, steals and sells their memorabilia for tattoos..."
murders go up. Bad people seem to lke good weather just like everyone else, weird....
several months for Michigan fans.
june is gonna be good cuz we are getting closer to football.
june is gonna be good cuz we are getting closer to football.
Man, not very much has went wrong for a while and another great month would just make things better haha. Doubt any sanctions against OSU will appear, but maybe we can snag a couple more big time recruits next month and make this class absolutely great
But the shitstorm clouds on the horizon can't hurt our chances with anyone deciding between Michigan and OSU.
/glances over his glasses at Brio'nte Dunn.
Wormley could be a good news candidate for the month of June. Track season ends soon.
In TomVH we Trust.
Gant is definitly a Michigan lean.
the possible commits could be:
Wayne Morgan
Jordan Diamond
Allen Gant
Erik Magnuson
Tom Strobel
and lastly Anthony Standifer
Wasn't Gunner Kiel supposed to decide in June?
add gunner to that list
D(t)'s on that bitch and we're done
At some point -- and it will take some time to really tell for sure -- it would be interesting to see Tom compare the effects of "NCAA uncertainty" on Michigan 2009-10 and OSU 2011-12. I can't imagine that there's any easy way to quantify it; it would take someone with the comprehensive and generalized knowledge of Tom to even approach it.
Wait, does this mean our class will be even closer to being filled - in June?!?
Won't someone think of the January deciders?
a spot to commit earlier and could potentially create a megaclass
They have something like 22 commits, 11 of which are in the espnu 150. If we had 16 guys before the season starts with ~10 watch listers/4 stars or above thats not a bad problem to have.
Early commits are the wave of the future today--like Netflix streaming video. Teams like A&M, Texas, Alabama and Florida State have been working harder to lock up kids earlier. This allows you to get on to recruiting the next years class early. You can also then monitor academic progress and weight and stay your kids if it's a problem. You may miss out on late risers but, by the same token, you're not stuck with kids who fall to you because other programs have dropped them due to academic and disciplinary reasons (I'm looking at you Demar Dorsey).
so long as the SEC can oversign this point really is moot. "commit early all you want to the B1G ten schools, we dont care! we always have room for another at alabama."
