I cannot belive how quick people are to jump on the kid. The disparaging comments about Barker remind me why I haven't posted on here in quite some time. I for one salute him for not just riding it out without having his heart in it and hope he find somewhere to play next year.
With Trey Burke this is a top 10-15 team. For this to be a top 5 team THJ needs to show up bigtime, he has to be the leading scorer so that Trey can run the offense instead of looking to score.
I don't love that first round matchup, Drexel is a very good Mid-Major team and the favorite to win the CAA. They are also on a 16 game winning streak right now and will probably finish as an 10 or 11 seed.
All I can say is that despite the accusations and assumptions that he would be leaving not one PSU fan I know was expecting him to actually leave. Everyone is shocked, myself included. I know some of his family members and I know they are shocked. He is one man who unites so many people here in PA. One person I would compare him to is the Queen of England he is that much of an icon. He IS Penn State football and to see him gone is deeply saddening. Jerry Sandusky is now responsible for casting this terrible shadow over one of the greatest coaching careers in football history on top of his unspeakable crimes. He is the worst type of person. Sorry for the incoherent rant just my take.
Philly just because of their conference I do not see the logic in leting a small catholic school block a large state school.. Could you please explain to me why Houston and SMU are better options I just can't really grasp why the Big EAST would invite another two texas teams that would jump ship in a second for a shot to play again with theyre old friends. Also I do not see any sport where Houston and SMU are leaps and bounds above Temple (matter of fact i'm not sure theyre better at any sport). I guess it will work itself out.
As a Temple fan I am pretty pissed. Villanova's biggest advantage in recruiting the city of Philadelphia has been the conference they were in (A-10 vs Big East). I do not see any reason why Temple should be passed over by Houston and SMU. Am I wrong here? Talk me of the ledge MGoCommunity.
On the MIchigan Football Homepage the recruit rankings are showing up on the bottom right. Richardson and RJS are 81s and Biggs, Bolden and Funchess are 80s, that's all I can see at least.
It is comparable because it is using the actions of one person or a small party of people to characterize a much much larger group. I did not read a single thing on ESPN or any other major news/sports outlet about the Victorino incident but if that had happened in Philly it would have undoubtedly been portrayed as another case of the big bad Philly fans by the media.
Shane Victorino had a beer poured on him when backing up to the wall in a game last year. Also 1 fan vomited on a girl horrible yes but to say that the whole fanbase is bas is absurd. In Philadelphia every incident that occurs in the stadiums is magnified by the media.
AAU Basketball is about as dirty as it gets. Players change teams all the time because of the benefits of playing for a team. I remember a kid who was supposed to come to my high school but his AAU coach threatened to kick him off the team if he left his old school, he stayed at his school and was all league the next 2 years.
Isn't D'Antoni's offense more of a run and gun? I think D'Antoni's offense is more like Paul Westhead's rather than Beilein's. In Beilein's offense there seems to be a lot of room for improvisation and playmaking and now with a true point guard (who can drive and kick and create) the offense is clicking better than ever. To me it seems this offense needs a true point guard (Morris), an athletic wing (THJR), two big man shooters (Smoctryz, Novak) and a rebounder (Morgan). The best is still yet to come for this team and we have seen in the past that Beilein teams can do some damage in the tourney.

Dudes being a nut people do it all the time
The announcers make it sound like michigan isn't taking the ball to the basket to get to the line, but they are the calls just aren't being made
edit: finally
Perhaps but for me Morgan is the one player I think can guard and rebound with Sullinger
Morgan is the only rebounder on this team
Thats mind bottling

One thing that has impressed me is UND's ability to get back on defense because of this there have been very few odd man rushes for michigan
Nevermind premature post
Does Larry Sanders ring a bell for you?

of such an occurance but have never, until now, seen one in person.
but it seems like the coaches are doing very well with Devin Lucien so that makes it slightly less bad.
they do the AFC and the SEC my two least favorite conferences also CBS is channel 3 and I never look that far down on the guide.
I will most likely be awake for two straight days and nights now (new years eve and and new years day) instead of just one.
There is no NFC Central anymore. Sorry if that was a joke my sarcasm detector is broken on saturday mornings.
