I would probably sprain something in the attempt to catch a football one-handed even from a sitting position, so I definitely respect the ability to do it. That was pretty awesome actually.

An attempt was made to makret this talent and reach a wider audience, of course. Bo Dever actually retweeted it to ESPN.

I'm ecstatic about Lewis this season. He's still underrated around the conference. Would not be surprised if he played himself into a high draft pick.

I saw Lewis play receiver at Cass Tech when he was a HS junior in a playoff game against Shane's DLS team and he was Cass Tech's best offensive player next to Royce Jenkins-Stone pounding the football.

And Jabrill Peppers might provide us the speed we're missing on offense...and I'm not joking.

In fact, I think we should start a cult movement to see those two on offense and the media will pick up on this and ask it in press conferences - and maybe, just maybe we'll get our wish.

WD - lead the charge.

Darboh, Chesson sound a hell of a lot more dangerous with Peppers and Lewis sprinkled in the mix.

Can Dymonte Thomas catch a ball like this?

I am confused by Jehu specifically - have seen in a lot of threads his track times in HS and you'd think he'd easily get open and get tons of YAC but instead seems to be a block first, possession type WR.  Guess that speaks to track speed not converting to football speed in some cases.  Harris was the other guy you expected to be able to bust open on the field but those damn hamstrings.

But yeah it seems like those might be our 2 most explosive athletes and unfort neither of those are on the offensive side of the ball.

I'm pretty certain there were plans to have Peppers take some snaps with the Offense in the spring game but there wasnt enough snaps. Also, Harbaugh is known for having guys do this. So, I would be really surprised if he doesn''t play both ways this year. Maybe J Lewis too.

I'm really excited to see the DB combination of J Lewis and Peppers...along with the others. If they reach their potential then I think UM will match up real well with MSU and gets in the conversation with OSU.
