Establishing winning ways and recruiting wins on the basketball court. Would be nice if football caught up to beating our rivals. We beat up Sparty and Buckeyes during my day. I remember when my friends told me 1 win in 3-4 years for Sparty to win in football and we always had Coopers number. The good old days I guess. Thanks for basketball, I can enjoy wins against those teams more often than not.
I hate it...when does it go away? When it's too late? Just let them play through it and learn. It's too conservative for me unless u have a deep bench and can weather it often.
7-5 next year...I just don't see the will to bury teams either. No way SC should've came back. The turning point was Higdon fumble near goal line. Also, you never win with FGs...They needed TDs. If Shea gets the waiver...assuming he beats Peters out...then I would give him another win or two. I'm just not confident with our incompetence. I really hope I am wrong.
Beers at lunch with Lagunitas...went to happy hour and scaled back a bit with some domestic flavor in AZ...Four Peaks and some Fireball shots for good fun. At home...ordered some pizza and hitting the spa with a beautiful sunset with some bourbon on the rocks. Who knows what's next as the bar is full.
When they lost Jabari Parker...Izzo and staff stopped playing by the same rules. He was tired of losing players and having all the eggs in a basket without a return. Go back and see how great classes have been since that. Going back to a posters review of State in the city of Chicago should help piece the puzzle for you. MSU decided it needed to play dirty and while we have Beilein we will be squeeky clean. It'll catch up...they aren't smart enough to hide it...we are talking about MSU and not Duke/Kansas/UNC/Kentucky, etc.

A few Moscow Mules...chillin in the hot tub watching Live PD hoping I see the cops tackle Auston in Ft. Wayne serving a warrant. Ok...sorry...sort of; that piece of shit deserves what he is getting. If there wasn't a bigger trend staring Mork in the face...I don't know. Neg if u will...many drinks deep I just don't care and I wish the basketball team as much of a tire fire as the football team. Let's stop kidding ourselves. Plus I'm from Clarkston...Dane Fife is a traitor...they pay kids...this I know...Dwyane Stephens! I call it as I see it.
Dane...u r better than that. GO Blue!!!
Cool story bro...I work in downtown Phoenix and they have a ton of Final Four festivities down here. I think the group is NABC and Coaches vs. Cancer stuff as part of the festivities with coaches from all over the country regardless of size. Anyways, as I am walking in I see a huge crowd around a coach as he is walking out of the convention and towards the hotels - our own Coach B. I didn't stop him but yelled Go Blue! He stopped and looked back and gave me a fist pump and said Go Blue! Came over and I told him I was an alum out here...shook my hand and said thanks for the support and Go Blue. It was great...very cool. I over hear a few other coaches saying he has a different mind...unreal how he thinks of breaking down the offense. I walk a bit further and Coach Self is there...standing alone. Not a damn soul around him just checking his cell phone. A distant troll yells..."is Josh Jackson in trouble again?". Nice...anyways...Go Blue and nice to see us in our Jumpman gear and other coaches trying to get insight.
How does he go untouched or not investigated after case 1? How does he get away with 59 other cases? I don't get it!? As a father of two young girls, I have no issue putting a guy out of his misery if he did this to my kid or anyone else. This is beyond messed up and a crime for those that investigated this and decided after 60 allegations; maybe it's time.
No reason to have these bastards even behind jail walls...sorry, take them out, chum the waters and drop them overboard. Not to get political but no father, mother, sister, brother, relative should deal with such bastards to do this to our youth and children. I've had a few cocktails but this makes me sick and sorry for the human race these people are around. Neg me if you will.
Unless he is flying back to NorCal, which didn't sound that way from an earlier report, imagine some will just camp out at the DTW gate or Tuscaloosa gate. I'm sure we'll know something soon enough and likely not from the kid himself, unfortunately.
C-Town Blue...a grad from 94...you or just place of residence? Anyways...lots of Blue up there although recent success has helped with more green and white around. Good to see fellow Wolve.
Is there a channel for this? I've looked up Golf Channel and I don't see anything about this...not even a tape delay. Your help is appreciated. Congrats either way...this is awesome for a northern golfer to do so well. I know Illinois has a strong team but this is great exposure for us and the team.
I had a great time golfing today...granted it was hot as hell. However, if you consider this our winter months like those in the midwest...we are near the time where it starts turning in our favor. Granted I love and miss the Fall...but I don't mind the heat while I am in the pool and work all day in A/C, but that's just me. Sunny most days is hard to pass up...even when it's hot compared to gray during the long winter in the midwest.
Another thing...isn't every camp in Hawaii' a satellite camp?
A buddy of mine was recruited by them about 20+ years ago...he almost had to say he was going to commit for a visit. Ended up at Wyoming as a legacy...he has awesome videos of him taking down Marshall Faulk at SDSU. He also told me when he went on a visit to Nebraska...it was pretty common that he needed to do steroids. Money handshakes were also very common in little ole Wyoming too. So pretty prevalent back then too. Anyways...my sort of cool story bro.
Also curious if we get any of those ASU cheerleaders at the game...if anything, they could impose a threat for our team by watching them throughout the concourse. Just saying...they do have quite the female student body!!!!
My take is that regardless of talent he took a significant step back and if you're a top collegiate QB, you should be able to improvise. I don't doubt he had a bad OL...but as a stud QB, he should've pulled some of those games out. He took a few steps back over the last year or so. BoB was a good coach...thankfully the NFL plucked him and Franklin as much as I was nervous about him early in; he seems like an idiot with his recent social media tweets. He's a big name but isn't one we should be worried about. He will be on the hot seat next year if the wins don't pick up.and I just don't see it.
A Buckeye acquaintance...about as far as I will go...tells me he isn't too worried about him. I explain his current ranking and then tells me Urbz is on higher recruits. Granted he has plenty of time to back off a verbal commitment. He isn't pleased with us getting a verbal from an Ohio kid, but my favorite part is everytime I run into him is he talks Harbaugh. It definitely has their panties in a bunch and I LOVE IT!!!! Harbaugh garners so much attention...I think most follow him on social media just to know what is going on. Another thing...they are not too happy about the AD backing down from Harbaugh. IT'S ALL PART OF THE PLAN...AND IT'S DRIVING OUR RIVALS CRAZY!!!!! I say this in AZ of course...keep it up BLUE!!
I love these subtle but factual tweets...the SEC is so hypocritical. So long it's good for them and not others...then it's more than appropriate. If the SEC can't particpate...it's a catastrophe and considered unfair and unethical. Pound sand degenerates. Go Blue and Hail Harbaugh!!!
A few pints of Blue Moon...a few shots so far of Fireball and now headed home to have a few Moscow Mules and play some music with the kids and enjoy the weather in AZ. Not Bad...
A few Blue Moon pints after work with Fireball chasing it down. Beautiful day out here in Phoenix suburbs with mid-70s and these temps will carry into the weekend. Sorry my East coast MGOBloggers.
Go Blue Chelsea! Good Luck...and I believe one of those pic's was on a course in AZ - looks all too familiar; although I was more focused on those "other" photos.
Got an early flight this morning to Detroit...could not sleep at all last night due to my extreme enthusiasm unknown to mankind for The Game. Ann Arbor bound with some fellas...one is an ASU alum and it'll be his first experience to The Game and The Big House. Helping him check off a bucket list "to do". Go Blue!!!
The photos are great, but I cannot imagine how that feels and to see him sitting in his mother's arms to watch the sunrise...I lost it as well. It's sad to see a child go through this or anyone. Unfortunately, this happens everyday. As a parent to two young little ones...I don't even have the words. God Bless Chad and the Carr family.
The excitement for tomorrows game is growing! It's a little late out here in AZ for those with small kids, but they are all asleep and I get the controls in anticipation for tomorrow. My parents have my season tickets for the game...wish I could be there but I will be there with a big group come Ohio State...with bells on for the win!!!!
Move on...Rich Rod is no longer affiliated with Michigan at the present time. Let's all just move on...we have better things to discuss. I don't wish him ill will as a person but forget him. Also, I like Sparky better than those in Tucson...so Forks Up!!
I was next to the student section around 35 yard line...those balls were overthrown. I though one might be caught if laid out...but unlikely. I think the timing was just off and Jake rushing a bit. As for Butt...dude is a Boss. The guy was open and was our best wide out as a TE. The Utah contingent thought he was unreal and a sure early draft pick soon. I agree with them. He got great spacing and was open more than not. A few times on the play action pass and roll out I think Jake held on to it a bit long, but correctable. Watching Jake Butt is special...he's a tough SOB and proud he's part of our team. It reminds me of watching Tuman back in the school...maybe better at his age. It's early...timing will come. I applaud the adjustments at halftime which were non-existent last year. We're moving in the right direction.
Hit the local bar for an assortment of San Tan Brewing offerings in Chandler, AZ. After the short trip from Utah this morning...will likely get into some bourbon and cheering on Western. Very good showing from our fans in Utah...nice fans there...I wore my "Worst State Ever" and got tons of compliments. Interesting group there as they hate Urban and Ohio State because he left them and other s still love him for what he did there. Most of them hated Ohio...so I was in good company. Go Blue!!!
