These pictures bring tears to my eyes. As the father of healthy 3-year-old twins, I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that the Carr family must be feeling. My prayers go out to them. He looks so happy--a happy young boy who shouldn't have to go through this.

It sucks and it's beautiful all at once.

So glad they were able to do that. They'll never forget that either.

The kid in the background looks like he just found out they were there. It's got to be hard for the siblings as well.

Praying for a miracle.

That "watching the sunrise" tweet has just crushed me.  I'm a hot mess right now.  There is nothing on the face of this earth that could be worse for me than watching one of my kids die and feeling helpless to do anything but watch it happen.  My son had a friend die of the same thing in the first grade.  This just cuts me to my very core.  I feel so incredibly sorry for that family.

The photos are great, but I cannot imagine how that feels and to see him sitting in his mother's arms to watch the sunrise...I lost it as well. It's sad to see a child go through this or anyone. Unfortunately, this happens everyday. As a parent to two young little ones...I don't even have the words. God Bless Chad and the Carr family.

This is just so unbelievably heartbreaking.  It was so wonderful of them to give him the game ball, but my heart absolutely breaks for that little boy and his family.

It sucks that the family has to go through that. I am not a parent yet but as an uncle to 4 young kids-the oldest is about to turn 5- I know it would suck to lose any of them. And I am sure that pain is even worse for a parent. This team makes me proud to be a Michigan fan. We should all be #ChadTough.

No family should ever have to go through what the Carr's are going through. Especially not with someone as young as Chad. This has to be an unimaginably tough time for all of them.
