If he decommits from Michigan, then fine. I don't care that much because I know Harbaugh will get good players and he and his staff will make them better, but if this kid wants to go to that sinking ship in Austin, that's his problem. Good luck either way.

Well, to be fair, the 1:52, 1:53, and 1:54 posts could all have been made at the same time...some people are just faster at completing their post than others.

2:01 guy needs to get his shit together, though. Come on, guy.

Okay, I know we talk about how you should never tweet at recruits, but SURELY this situation calls for a full court press from MGoBlog twitter right? Exceptions prove the rule and all that?

I am surprised you haven't broken out Visio yet and made some swim lanes and decision matrices with that. Trying to boil recruiting down to something that could actually be sufficiently described in a Visio document could actually be an amusing exercise. of course, import the graphics in a format easily used here is probably a pain in the ass.

How bout everybody just takes a break and waits until signing day.  We get who we get.  If they want to be here they will be here.  If they don't they should go elsewhere.  The sun will rise tomorrow and I'm pretty sure we will be able to field a football team next year.  Praise Odin and Go Blue.

One visit 2 weeks from signing day to a sinking ship. We've seen this with guys who visit us on a whim like the Alabama lb. If they take a couple of visits it's a pattern. If it's just one random one he could just be checking them out.

I love what this kid brings but this is starting to feel like a Chris Clark sort of situation. So much for his I'm only speaking to Michigan coaches thing, unless he's going on this official as a mime

Just got to be the last one to have him on signing day.

Getting tired of all this negativity today.  Especially from Michigan's own "twitter reporters".  I just feel like what's the point of airing dirty laundry.  Just giving Sparties and Buckeyes more fun things to retweet.

Say what you want about Hoke's coaching, but there was a reason he did recruiting the way he did. He didn't like all the BS that gets pulled. Unfortunately, this is how the game must be played at the elite level. Hoke was an excellent recruiter, but not elite. Luckily, we have a coach who enjoys all that is recruiting in this day and age entails. Lots of heartburn this recruiting season, but it'll be worth it.

If he isn't sure her wants to be at UM thats just fine.. If a recruit says Michigan is no longer recruiting him its a sad day in sports and the coach's treat these kids like cattle and on and on and on. Sometimes life is just unfair get used to it. When we all were kids we knew we didn't want to get old, well it's time to grow up.

I hope he stays blue, but if not I wish him well. Harbaugh is building something here at Michigan and many people want to be a part of it. Texas is in serious trouble and Charlie Strong might not last after next season. I'd go to Michigan if I had that choice.

He probably commits to Texas this weekend. Then visits another school the week before NSD and then commits to them. Then, he decides to go with another school on NSD. I'd say Michigan will only be his third school in a line of about six. Joking aside, if he does de-commit again then good riddens. I know they are 17 and 18 year old young men, but when this type of thing becomes a pattern, then you have to start to believe there are commitment issues and character flaws. (See Chris Clark) Michigan doesn't need that. I hope this isn't the case with Elliot.

As long as we get Gary, I'm good with the other parts they find for the DLine.  Let him see what's at UT-Austin.  If he wants to stay home, then good for him.  Hopefully he'll make them a player again in the national picture and shut up all the Charlie Strong haters.  If he comes up here, then combine with Gary to dominate the B1G for 3+ years.

As long as we have Gary to combine with someone, I am good.

And was supposedly a silent commit to Texas at one point. In addition to numerous commitments he engaged in a public Twitter fight with the Texas 247 writer for questioning Elliot's Michigan commitment. Elliot repeatedly stated he was not going to talk to any coaches but Michigan's.

The only way to settle this is to make the commit a binding contract after they receive their signing bonus.

As long as the machine makes gobs of money off these kids they are at the mercy of their whims; treat them like men, however, and most will act like it.

Or carry on with the dog and pony show and,,,,CROOTIN!
