Interesting Tyler O'Connor Passing Chart

Some of my observations:
-He really favors that left flat. I wonder what schemes we could put in play to nullify that.
-Horrible on 3rd down (sounds good to me).
-Even worse under pressure (sounds good to me).
-Only 4 throw aways on the year seems pretty low, especially with a game against wisconsin.

I was watching the Indiana game and at one point I rewound to watch just how terrible a throw of his was. I don't think it even spiraled.

Point taken but I thought it was interesting and considering my thread competition included...

OT: NCAA 2K17 is alive, on ps4 only via nba 2k17
OT: 48-team World Cup with play-in round?
Early Odds on The Game  ... (During RUTGERS week!)
A repeat Alex Leatherwood thread "Leatherwood removes "Alabama commit" from his twitter"
Basketball: MSU F Ben Carter suffers knee injury, out indefinitely

I figured it was worth a post.

What's funny about Bauserman is that he was a minor league pitcher before he was a quarterback at Ohio State, and if there were ever an example of someone that perhaps should have stuck with baseball (not that his minor league stats are spectacular - they aren't), it might be Joe Bauserman.

We never got to face Bauserman, but OSU was treated to (in consecutive years):

  • Injured Chad Henne
  • Nick Sheridan
  • Freshman Tate Forcier

Plus by rights the 2001 game should have been Drew Henson vs. Steve Bellisari, instead it was Freshman Navarre vs. Krenzel.  $*()&*@#

I don't know if we really want to nullify that pass to the flat. Our corners (and Peppers) are pretty good tacklers and probably the best DBs he has faced yet (though Wisconsin's secondary is pretty solid too). I think his strength matches up well with our strengths. I'm not worried about our defense vs anybody but OSU.

They were all crying "disrespect" because they were only ranked in the top 15 at the beginning of the year.  To me, after losing your QB, Both receivers, and most of your OL and DL, it was the ultimate form of respect.  Yet they cried like teeny little babies.  Hate them.  Glad they are losing.  Pride comes before the fall.

I am still in disbelief that MSU beat OSU in Columbus with this bum at quarterback; and yet OSU seemed to find a way to crush us in our own house. College football is weird.

If MSU and UM switched weeks playing OSU, UM would have won. OSU farted around on offense all year culminating in the worst offensive game plan I think Meyer had ever had. They figured it out after that wake up call, changed coaching duties, and boom, ready to roll against a depleted UM D.
