How do i listen to the game mid road trip
September 1st, 2015 at 11:06 AM ^
TuneIn should have an option. Sometimes if I can't find an option I go to the website on my phone and there's a link for audio. It works every time. I've used it to listen to games when I'm driving in texas, Oklahoma or Kansas.

Ira has stated numerous times that it does not work on the app or their web site.

TuneIn app. It can be weird trying to find the exact game you want and you may have to settle for the Utah broadcast.

WTKA is on TuneIn radio, so should be able to listen to it there.
EDIT: Found this from last year, assume it still applies:

Sometimes you can find Internet/smart phone radio streaming channels for other stations in the Michigan Football Radio Network.

On MGoBlue is reliable.

I was under the impression that is paid access, though.

Get it on your phone (see posts above for options), buy a Bluetooth receiver for your car and listen through the car stereo. Boom. Nailed it.

If you have Sirius/XM, shouldn't it be on one of their B1G channels?
September 1st, 2015 at 12:26 PM ^
I don't know if it's a BIG channel, but it looks like it's on channel 82.
(I may be in the same boat as the OP, and want to cover all of my bases.) I have SiriusXM, but just in case will check out TuneIn. I've had trouble finding a station on iHeartRadio in the past, but appreciate the suggestions there too.
Go Blue!

With your ears.

If you have connection / a good data plan you could always just open up the FS1 app and plug-in the audio, too.

This would be my best guess too.

This is helpful

I always stream via mgoblue and it works perfectly

Take a break from driving, stop at a bar, and watch the game. Jeez, man!
September 1st, 2015 at 11:56 AM ^
But don't drink...
September 1st, 2015 at 11:55 AM ^
The best option is to find a sports bar along the way and stop there. It's best to plan ahead though

This will not go over well with the sleeping child or wife

set cruise, hard crank the wheel and step out. Once game is over, jump in and continue driving. /s
T-Mobile is spotty so I usually download the Michigan Radio station guide but usually I am only in Michigan in the fall.

You can stream the game if you have enough data. I stream teh games live when I'm driving sometimes just to hear the sound.

SiriusXM Channel 82

You reschedule your drive. If I can schedule my wedding around a Michigan football game, you can reschedule a road trip. Get it done, son.
September 1st, 2015 at 12:22 PM ^
+1 for you, sir. Excellent work scheduling the wedding out of football season. Football Saturday weddings should be illegal. I have one to go to on September 12th, but at least the OSUw game is at noon. I will be skipping the ceremony to watch the game. I will also try to leave the reception as early as possible to watch the late games.

and it fell on 10/24. My wife's cousin, so my attendance would have been mandatory.
September 1st, 2015 at 12:17 PM ^
Its one thing for a service member overseas to ask for assistance in viewing the game. This is just utterly ridiculous.
September 1st, 2015 at 12:19 PM ^
Why will you be in the middle of a road trip on a Thursday night at 8:30. Just stop for the night.
September 1st, 2015 at 12:45 PM ^
Stop by a local bar and watch us kick ass

the cries of trampled Utes will be heard across the land

Similar question but... I'll be on a flight. It's unavoidable. Will spend $$$$ to steam if necessary

Streaming video is hit or miss on planes, but you should be fine with audio.
September 1st, 2015 at 3:07 PM ^
MGoBlue2Go app. I listen to all the games while watching on TV usually just have to pause the tv for less than 30 seconds for it to sync up.
September 1st, 2015 at 4:50 PM ^
get on google and figure it out.
Tired of people burdening this website with thier everyday, mundane problems they can't figure out themselves.

but be prepared for about the constant repeat of O, O, O, O'Reilly Autopart commercials, and a heavy dose of Flagstar Bank commercials (why would you bank at a Buckeye bank?!)
