Whoa, that's a nice pick-up.  Early offers from USC and Tennessee, and IIRC Mattison saw him in camp and thought he was an incredible prospect.

Maybe Ace's post-MSU post about reversing the trend was actually dead on.  Hopefully that was our true low point, after so many illusory ones, and we're about to seeing things come up Milhouse.  A man can hope, at least.

The next coach may need to keep Hoke on as the new Fred Jackson....as a recruiter, not as the great sensationalist!

Kids still love UM.....no matter what!

According to Wikipedia Brian Williams changed his name to Bison Dele right around the time this kid was born.  If there is any connection to this being his name, I would be very excited.

If you're Harding, this could be a really savvy, smart move.  Assume that you believe you might want to go to Michigan.  By committing now while Hoke and his staff are still here, you force the next coaching regime to actively decide not to honor your commitment in order to keep you away (rather than to simply not offer you).  It's probably much harder to do the former.  Now whether you'd want to play for a coach who doesn't really want you is a separate question, but he's potentially giving himself an option that he might not have had without this commitment.

We'll skid along the bottom a bit longer (or slam back against the bottom, like last weekend), but Atomic Dog will be the tipping/turning point. The MMB is (well, should be) composing its own rendition now and it will stand alongside Temptation, Hawaiian War Chant, and Can't Turn You Loose. They'll play that in place of a piped-in Sweet Caroline. It will be magnificent, I tell you.

I will admit though, comments like these do scare me in terms of the coaching staff change at Michigan.

Dele Harding in regards to USC:

Many have speculated that Harding’s comfort in the Land of Troy makes USC his current leader, but those closest to him warn against jumping to that conclusion. That’s especially true of Thomas, who is unabashed in his support of the Maize and Blue. “No, no,” said Thomas when asked about the rumor of the Trojans being on top. “That’s a new staff. I don’t know them. I knew the old staff. I don’t know these (guys) over there now.”

Edit: That's his head coach speaking about USC, not Harding. Still may be something to watch for in the future.

This dude must really love Michigan.  Doesn't seem like he is just saving a spot and he must know there will be a new coaching staff shortly so the man is committing to the University.
