Harbaugh Presser

On Josh Uche: "He's got a great strong mindset. Trains at a high level, wants to be good. Getting better all the time

"On Shea Patterson: "I thought he had a heroic type of ball game. Particularly this last game, he's playing really, really good football. Game in and game out, consistently good."

On the snap counts: "We were mixing in a count that was a two count or a hard count. That was our way of combating it."

On Jordan Glasgow: "It's almost not human like quality of he never see any kind of flaw or weakness physically or even a complaint or anything. Just steady, jackhammer at all times. 100% about getting the job done and doing the best of his God-given ability, every single time. It's what I admire about him most."

On Notre Dame as a rivalry: "It's a big game.""I think there's some discussion about it. It'd be good," on keeping the series going. "They're really talented. Offensively, defensively, it's a really good football team. We're plowing through it now. They're playing really good football."

"Win our next game. That's our goal. We have a really good plan for this week. Practice it, go out an execute. Feel like our team is optimistic as ever that we're hitting our stride."

Kwity Paye: "He had another outstanding game this past game. Physically, he's come a long way -- he's really trained himself at a really high level. He's got a really great attitude."

Harbaugh confirms they had practice this morning. "Those who didn't play in the game."

On the calls: "There were some. You had the human reaction of, what your human reactions are. Sometimes it's not fair. (Said) a long time ago, the only fair is the county fair -- you'll be disappointed sometimes. "Yeah, looked at those -- make no excuse."

"We would take as many Ronnie Bells as possible." Calls him mentally and physically tough.

...and after ever catch Bell makes.  Just like we yell "TRUUUUUUUU!!!" every time Tru Wilson gets the ball.

Let's make this happen, MGoFolks!  Show Ronnie Bell that he IS APPRECIATED--let him feel the love!

I truly like Bell!   He has had more full layouts to try and catch a ball then I have seen in a long time.  He gives 100% effort at all times and is not afraid to catch it in traffic at all.  That drop he had just happens.  He is going to do many great things and I'll gladly take the good with the bad but his good is .... really really good!

Happens to the best of them from time to time.

You're obviously looking for something, and if I've learned anything in life it's that people tend to find what they're looking for. So, regardless of whatever the reason is, for you it's because of whatever narrative you're created about the team/coaches within your own head. It's pretty clear what that narrative is.

Good luck champ!

Seriously?  What is there to say about it?  They weren't prepared to go and were looking at a 5-yd penalty for delay of game.  You think he's going to shit on himself, his coaches, or his players if nobody asked a question with such an obvious answer?

IMO, I'd rather take the 5 yards than give up a TO there.  But it didn't matter at the end of the half, anyway...  Obviously much more preferable to be ready to go.

Not an excuse but last year there was a new rule instituted that the 40 second play-clock starts immediately after a kick-off return has ended (on white cap's ready for whistle) to keep the flow of the game moving. I have seen many instances, particularly on the road, where the players have not adjusted to it. Definitely inexcusable but it happened, the decision was made to call a time-out and that's the end of it. Learn and move on - that'st life when you're in.........life.

Some people want him to say he's a bad coach. Others want him to vent on the players. Many just want some justification for their 97.1/Feinbaum hawt takes.

In cutting out alot of what people say, I'm starting to enjoy football again.

We had people up and one guy was 'Oh The SAVIOR SCREWED UP AGAIN!' 'HARBAUGH COMPLAINING ABOUT THE REFS WHAT ELSE IS NEW!' He stopped after I said 'Look, I like him. I didn't like the 7-8 win seasons under RR and Hoke. Never knowing if I was going into a weekend where I might lose to a MAC team. I didn't like getting not only beaten, but physically abused by MSU every year.

I like having a clean program (so far), good graduation rates, and a coach that actually seems to challenge his players to do good things academically. I liked it when we beat MSU, PSU, and Wisci, sometimes in dominant fashion

I had hoped for a National Title by year five. But, oh well. As the Stones said, you can't always get what you want. ANd for me, what we have is pretty damned good by any standard. Is it perfect? No. But it's pretty damned good.

Go Blue.

Made the conscious effort to disengage emotionally after the Wisconsin game, and let me tell you it is GREAT. I still watch and root for the team, but I don't take the results so personally anymore.

When we "only" won 10-3 against Iowa I didn't go in a fit of rage over ONLY TEN POINTS RAWRRR, I am just happen they won an ugly game, and thankful for Don Brown (and regretting thinking what I thought after the Wisconsin game about him).

When it's 28-25 at Illinois I'm mostly thinking "hey maybe you guys should like, stop derping around", not RAWRRRR ITS ILLINOIS THEYRE RUTGERSSSS.

When  it's 21-7 at PSU I'm thinking "I just hope they make this interesting", not RAWRRR ANOTHER BAD ROAD GAME HARBAUGH SUCKS. And then they drew me in because they DID make it interesting, and it was fun watching the offense consistently move the ball against a potentially elite-level defense. Then Bell dropped the ball, and it sucked...but man in the past that result would have ruined my whole day on Sunday. This time I was over it by the time I woke up, and now I'm actually looking forward to seeing what they can do against ND. Should be a fun game if the Michigan we saw Saturday shows up next week.

College football is infinitely more enjoyable when you watch it as the entertainment it is, and not think wins and losses are life and death.

Well said! Not everyone can be Bama or Clemson and once people get past all the pissing and moaning...we’re respectable again. Texas is loaded full of top talent and titty bar Tom has them trending up, but like us may never get there. Oh well enjoy football because it’s half over.

I can't really disagree with anything he said, the team really did look different in the second half (though I would argue it started in the first half since they had almost 200 yards at half) and if that is the team we see the rest of the year, some good things can happen as far as running the table to OSU, and then hopefully come up with their best game of the year to stay in that game. At the end of the day heading into the season we were hoping for the best case outcome that the offense would be hitting it's stride by game 3, but in all honesty starting to get it going halfway through the season was probably more likely.

As far as building on the previous game, just give me that second half offense in the first half against ND and I'll be happy.  Don't care about new plays, or new constraints, just give me that second half effort for the entire game, and I'll call that improvement worth seeing.

With that, we can start looking at closing out the season with all wins.  But until that effort shows up for 60 full minutes, it ain't happening...

You can say whatever you want about Harbaugh, but he consistently supports the team.  He takes those words from Bo & lives them.  Kind of like the anti-Mike Leach in that regard.
