Georgia Bulldog Football guys preview how Michigan will attack their legendary defense

Highlights

  • Ryan Hayes sucks, GA will attack him
  • Cade throws like a 2nd basemen, quick release but could be tip ball/turnover  opportunities
  • RBs are the best GA has seen, online isn’t a bunch of buttkickers, Vastardis best, and will pull if uncovered
  • Motion is often used to block
  • Offense is unique. Will try to bully a defense, not something GA has seen.  Teams don’t try to do that to GA
  • Mich St D is similar (except for horrible corners) because Mel tucker was old D coordinator for them
  • Reverses will happen every game. Mich likes to move you one way then go another
  • If Mich is in 3rd and 7+, it will not go well for them
  • Cade is good from a clean pocket, doesn’t make many turnover worthy plays. JJ is more talented and will run it.
  • Mich is a run first O, but they have a ton of gadget plays
  • Michigan will stay with run first, unless they are down 17+. Will they have success? No one tries it against GA. Bama had run success because they were pass first
  • Don’t let Michigan run on you, make them beat you by passing

Yeah, no shit. For a team that once they faced a worthy opponent and got smoked when they finally did, these guys sure sound cocky. Someone needs to point this out to them.

Also, they need to realize we are more than worthy, I get a feeling these clowns are gonna have sad panda faces for most of this game.

I predict a 34-16 Michigan win.

I hope the Dawgs share the same sentiment. They are buttsore about what happened against Bama. They also have have this pride thing going on that they lost to ESS EEE CEE Alabama, not just any team; hopefully they underestimate us and become saltier than the dead sea.

That's pretty salty, fyi; I hear if  you wade in over your pee-pee, it burns.

The SEC bias as well as the "typical college football fan from the south" notion that Michigan has zero chance to beat Georgia and it will be a rematch against Bama needs to be proven a farce with a resounding Michigan victory in the Orange Bowl.

The Media and the majority of CF fans think Georgia is Goliath.....we all know what happened there!

Go Blue!

27-19 Good guys and on to the NATTY!!

No acknowledgment that our OC won the Broyles? Or that our o line won the offensive line of the year?

this is good.  We have been underestimated all season.  Just more of the same

I have listened to too many of these Georgia fanboy clips over the past week. This is the standard pathological fan fare-so much uninformed arrogance. Michigan brings a whole lot more to the table than these partisans believe they can or will. Everyone claims to be objective but there is no objectivity in ignorance. Conversely, I really like the calm confidence the Michigan players are showing.

These are two very good teams. The variability of a football game can take the results in every direction. I believe they re very well-matched and that if they both play well it will be a very close game-it should be interesting.

I heard David Pollack say we still ran the I formation. Sounds like he has not watched a game in 3 years. The Georgia fan base gives Michigan zero chance of winning. Let them think what they want like the other 13 teams we have played so far this year

Their opinion of Hayes is hilarious to me. It’s not that they can’t win that matchup, because their ends are pretty good. It’s that the “top” tackles in the SEC are fat, sloppy pieces of shit who get their feet in the right place a couple of times a game, so they might find it more difficult than they usually do.

Ryan Hayes could transfer today and be Georgia’s best tackle tomorrow.

3rd and long is a problem, and QB’s are better in a clean pocket? Wow—did they spend a day with Romo, both Manning brothers, Brian Griese, and visit John Madden before he passed to uncover those largely unknown gems?

I'm looking forward to stealing their new year away from them!

We need MGO Hillbilly to comment about these guys: )

FYI - My Dad is from TN.  My Mom's people come from south of Columbus.  I have overcome the genetic Ohio disability and love Michigan football.

Ryan Hayes sucks? News to me

And I don't think people remember what reverses are because Michigan never runs reverses. We just run sweeps / jet sweeps to attack the edge

Here's my scouting report:

GA running game is not that great when they play a tough defense.

Michigan is not just a running team. They probably have one of the most balance offenses in College football. If they spend all their effort stopping the run, Cade will have a lot of receiving options to make them not focus on the run.

GA starting QB is so/so and overall Cade is a better QB.

Everyone thinks this game will be low scoring but I think Michigan  will score over 30 on GA. The question is how many points will GA score? They may be the low scoring team and if that is the case, Michigan will win quite easily but I think GA will score in the 20s, so it may be a competitive game.

The key to the game will be Michigan getting ahead and then playing their ball control offense game and keep the GA offense off the field.

My prediction:  Michigan 31 vs UGA 27.

So the OLine, which won the Joe Moore award for best OL in the entire country, isn't a bunch of buttkickers, and Varstardis is the best of them?  I mean, Andrew has been a revelation this year and has played quite well, but he is not the best OL on the roster.  I'm looking forward to Zinter hitting Davis.  Zac Zinter is a mashing, devastating run blocker that is plenty big and athletic enough to manhandle Jordan Davis.  And he won't need shots of oxygen to do it.

This is some serious overlooking of Michigan's offensive diversity, but I'm not surprised.

From these yahoos and others I’ve also been made aware that…

Tennessee has a better offense than us

were built to beat Iowa and Wisconsin, not Georgia

Missouri’s running back is better than ours because he plays in the SEC

The score will be 30+ to 13 or less because they beat Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee and Kentucky by that approximate score… and those 4 are our equals because they play in the SEC.

There’s a good chance we get shutout

I sure hope someone helps communicate this information to the team.

Nothing earth-shaking here. Hell, I could have written this up.

That said, I hope Michigan breaks tendencies early and often in this game. If we're going to go best-on-best (run first) then we better hope the D holds up and makes this a low-scoring game.

Georgia will be ripe for play-action almost from the get-go. They will expect us to try and pound.

I hear Michigan fans should be exclaiming how amazing it would be if we actually won, rather than all the bank it in this thread. Let's not motivate our opponent, as if fan bases meant much anyhow.
