"He makes it really easy on you as a coach because he has tremendous football instincts," Michigan tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh said. "Things come really naturally to him. He doesn't have to see things too many times. He has a good sense for how things should look and feel, and he's a tough, physical guy."

Last week I was watching one of the B1G network programs, Revsine had a segment where local beat reporters would be connnected by phone for some Q&A;, I think Marcus Ray was the A2 connection. Through the entire segment, they were playing this stupid-ass background music, mis-mixed to the point where you could barely make out what the phoneline correspondent was saying. So freaking annoying I lost interest and changed the channel.
Stop with all the background noise!

Need to be modified from that gott-awful red & gray/white to blue & amber/maize.
Here's the CL link: https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/5189144227.html Interior is a little Spartan, needs further customization but could be a kick-ass tailgating mobile.

MadCap third coast beans purchased on my last visit to GR, pulled luongo in Saeco Intellia automatic. I'll usually froth up a little milk to mix in for a velvety delicious morning.

Way to class it up.

Can FS1 just put her in a Picture in Picture frame throughout the game....or at least during play stoppages?
Rupert knows how to pic 'em.
How about her and Holly Sonders calling the game?

When I read appendix, my first thought was the appendix for his multi-volume UM history binders.
Best wishes to the kid on a speedy recovery.

MUCH more Molly Gerim and much less SAS and Bayless. Don't care she said 'Big Blue'...frankly, I'd like her to whisper that in my ear all night.
Actually, re: the UM wagering; my lady was just out in Vegas last weekend for a girlfriend's B-day weekend. I had her place 20 bills on the lads, so consider me one of the offenders driving the betting hype.

With a winning record at the Lions in the last five decades.
EDIT: OK, I fact checked myself, not including Jim Caldwell, who is on the plus side...and techically, its four decades.

If those are your only choices for a sports bar, I feel for you man. Bdubs is servicable, but Old Chicago, one of the worst places I've ever been.

80's checking in, TP was more of a late 70's early 80's thing. Marshmallows didn't happen until after I graduated.
I think people threw the TP because it looked cool, like a bunch of party streamers. Pretty harmless if you ask me, although did make a bit of pulpy paper mess.

Galena is a nice historic town about 15 miles east of Dubuque, think main street Mackinac Island with cars, historic brick buildings, etc. The drive in there from Chicago is nice, will be real cool in a rag-top, nice rolling hills, winding roadways, etc. The town has lots of B&B's, some really good restaurants & bars (second part may not be so important with the 6yo in tow), shops, galleries, etc. Fun fact: it was at one time a bigger town than Chicago during its mining heyday.
The little lady & I used to make it our midway hook-up spot when I was living in Chicago and she in Cedar Rapids.
My only bad memory of the the place was in the fall of 2007, we were driving up on a Saturday for a quick rendevous. It was the opening UM game of the year against a nobody team. I obviously couldn't get the game on the radio (pre-XMSirius days) and I don't recall the game being televised anywhere in Illinois, so decided to skip the game, as a win was sure to be a lock. Imagine the shock at learning of The Horror once I arrived in Galena and was able to plop down in front of Gameday. Ruined my entire weekend. Today however, I think I'm better off for not having any of that game burned into my memory.
Other than that, to your original question, I have no idea what to do in Dubuque.

What about Harbaugh makes you believe that he doesn't preach good sportsmanship? His mantra of turning these players into good men would require that. Just because you're a warrior on the field doesn't mean you're a jackass. It is just a game after all.

|20 weeks 2 days ago||Overlap with Auto Show?||
Since the CFB NCG is played in the first two weeks of January, and the NA Int'l Auto Show is typically right around that time, seems to me that it might be a shit show for football fans trying to get last minute hotel rooms during that period. I believe most of the 'quality' hotel rooms in the downtown are sold out, especially for the first few days of the NAIAS and during press week.
Would the NA Int'l Auto show consider pushing their event back a week to not suck up all the downtown hotels? Should Detroit win this bid, that would have to be coordinated, or else each would have a major impact the other.

Blake was one of my favorite guys over the last few years, despite having some difficult recent games...was hoping for big things for him as part and with the support of our lock-down D this year.
Glad he got his degree, but nevertheless, I haz a sad.
