Any MgoUser's in Memphis? I'm stuck here for work...that AlumniAssoc list shows a BBQ joint for the game watching site. Checked the spot's website, their photographs look like an absolutely horrible spot to watch a game, basically in a suburban BBQ storefront / cafeteria. Any head's up on better watching locales in MEM would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, and Go Blue! |

So disappointed for Denard, Vince, Roy, Jordan, Kenny and all the other seniors. This game was well within the grasp of winning yet our coach (no need to further name names), completely outsmarts himself and snatches defeat from the claws of victory. One TD in the second could have clinched it. Way to go OSU on your perfect season, it means nothing because the coach you "honored" at halftime is a fraud. |

And I can't believe I'll be adding to it, but the biggest joke of all is Mark Emmert's meager sanctions on a program where the coach repeatedly flat out lied to the NCAA, and there was clearly loss of institutional control. |

...finding a bar that will actually switch a monitor to the UM game with the Tigers on, I imagine every screen downtown will be dialed in to the WS.. Cheli's is a pretty big place w/ many screens, they might be willing to accomodate, but I also imagine an opening day like atmosphere, so you may not even be able to get in w/o standing in line for an hour. I haven't been there yet, but heard the MGM has a new sports bar called TAP. It's a little further from the stadium so maybe an option. If all else fails....Bouzouki. |

Since most rival fans tend to be respectful and decent (buckeyes and sparties exception), I think the only rivals I personnally would deny bathroom use would be buckeyes. Make them hold it...they probably brought their own cooler for that business anyway. |

Last year the tour started in the East and traveled west ending at Nebraska (I presume to do the new kid on the block last). This year more or less in reverse; Chicago to Iowa, Nebraska, then loop back around the north and so on. I guess doing Sparty as the final stop would have made more sense, as it's on their way back to Chicago. IMHO, they've saved the most interesting team for last. |
