Exit: Brian Cole?

There is noise that Scout.com is saying Brian Cole is done at Michigan. Can anyone confirm?

Nah...you're just joking. And to call out the most contributing member to the board when the majority of the board said or felt the same way it just kind of silly.

Not offended (why would I be?...it's not me)...but the joke would be funny if it were just him. Alum was one of just about everyone.

I do not understand your postion Mr. Yost. Is there a point threshold that when one reaches they are to forever go unchallenged? Please let me know as I don't want to step on toes. Second, your assertion about everyone agreeing with Alum96 is woefully inaccurate. Perhaps tainted by the same mis guided deference that assumes certain people shouldn't be challenged?

Just my two cents.

Without giving much away (not like there is much to give away) but he was on very thin ice and it has gotten worse post bowl.  I don't think he's off the team now, but there could be a possibility of that by spring ball.  I also think this thread should probably be removed until more is known.

I'm on Scout as well and Allen basically made it clear in that same thread you're getting the thin ice comment from. Gotta scroll down a bit.

Also, Scout.............good lord, what an inoperable clusterfuck of a site that thing has become in terms of its design.

Even worse, people do tend to lose their focus then get excited about the backend fetching itself, not even thinking about the possibility that it leads to rather a lot of bad gateways. Eventually, the connection times out and you end up trying to refresh, only to discover that your comment was posted multiple times.

If the incident that got him in trouble happened after the bowl like the scout report says, that would make 247 right. He was practicing for bowls because there were quotes about him looking good at safety so I think the dire Rivals reports weren't correct until something happened more recently. It's like do you give the Texas247 guy credit now for arguing with Elliott weeks ago about whether UT was in it? If I called Jim Harbaugh the next president of the United States with 90% certainty right now and then that actually occurs that doesn't make me a good political analyst.

boot him off team til spring, and gain a spot. then attrition in spring. is this a maneuver? kidding aside, if his dad is a state cop, one cannot discount that this was mutually decided by the coaches and him, to get in line.  ie that there is a chance he'll be back.
