I love these but only if used very sparingly. I wish we would have worn these on 11/26/22 to create an (even more) everlasting trigger memory in Them.
I hated all the Highlighter Maize shades and love the matte blue helmets with the individual stickers.
Prediction: Someone (like me) will have white jersey & maize pants at the bottom of the list because there's not (IMO) enough contrast between the colors. They don't look good together. All schools with yellowish colors (Cal, Iowa, West Virginia, et al.) have the same issue.
Responses (in an "Oh, yeah?" tone) will often include this picture (as if it settles everything for all time):

I'd be open to seeing a maize jersey and blue pants. I can't imagine a maize jersey and white pants working (see #4). I'd like for #5 to work, but it just doesn't.

I thought the UTL unis against ND would have been sweet without the shoulder noise (and perhaps without the small number on front of jersey, which just seemed like more visual noise). Simple old timey block M on blue jersey with maize pants, dark socks and shoes.

That small number was really messing with my mind and lousy vision. I kept thinking that #11 was everywhere—but that was really just a big M. I was right that it was everywhere, at least.

Honestly those are the only three combos I like. I’ve never been a fan of the all whites and don’t even get me started on maize jerseys
edit: Forgot about the blue pants on the road. I’m also a fan of those and would put them on the same tier as the white jerseys with maize pants.

never loved the all whites that jimbo was obsessed with -pretty happy we mix it up now a little. whites were not intimidating or interesting.
I did not like the all blues at ALL... they looked like the NFL color rush unis... but then... we played osu in 2021.. and they TOTALLY REDEEMED THEMSELVES and now i look at them fondly. The blue unis in the snow was pretty awesome.
I do not like the unis with the shoulder patches (like the rose bowl etc).. .ruins the look.
My favorite BY FAR, is the blue pants with white tops. The yellow stripes in the helmets really POP with this combo.

I agree. The first time they wore this combo was against Wisconsin IIRC and it was so striking. Familiar but new. Totally Michigan, but somehow more intimidating. Would love to see this combo with maize socks and accents.

IF the team likes it, and - it amps them up - it’s good with me - such as the all blues.
My only wish is - they don’t turn into Oregon.

Loved the subtle swoosh on the chest. I definitely could do without the piping; although those don't compare to the hideous elephant tusk piping they had under Rich Rod.
I would love if our whites dropped the cuff blue and maize stripes, and they added a slight maize outline to the number. Those would be clean.
