When they were hiring the new mens basketball coach that turned out to be John Beilein, I did a google search on "new michigan mens basketball coach" or something like that, and up popped mgoblog.

The good thing about Stone is that he gone after this year. He'll go high in the draft, a beast. Great defense shutting Trimble down...recall MAAR hounding him a few times...

Their (larger) front court will bully our four-headed scrap heap. No Levert. We won't be able to out score them. Maryland by 15. Sorry.

I dunno..that play seems incredibly deceptive to me...probably should be penalized...

didn't James Blackman decommit from Creaniana and then go back? Man, I was also sad to see Devin Booker drafted so high after we nearly had him...sigh...

Meyer Sound is as good as it gets. Must be some crazy wattage.

All due thanks and respect to Mr. Wilkns for leading the BBall Band. Don't mean to jump on this so soon, but his ideal replacement can be found at George Mason. UM Music School alum Michael "Doc Nix" Nickens leads the Green Machine BBall Band, and they are completely off the hook:

Smot looks absolutely sleepy/fuzzy out there, so do Stu and Vogrich for that matter. I see a trend...
|6 years 4 weeks ago||He's probably leaving because..||
there is a scandal about to break open, figures he can dodge the sanctions if he just skips town and goes somewhere else...
|6 years 6 weeks ago||Stunning is...||
George Mason's "Green Machine" Bball band, as lead by UM alum Michael "Doc Nix" Nickens. That band is ridiculous, puts UM's to shame sorry to say.

The Illinois game was my first of the RR era and it was definitely louder in there than I had ever experienced before. I think the new boxes seal in a lot of the sound that was getting lost before. I also noticed during the game that the band was miced and coming through the PA system, but not all of the time. Overall, louder for sure

First time post here.
It occurs to me that one thing their schedule does not account for is jet lag. The time difference to Belgium/central Europe is six hours (ahead) and common wisdom is that we recover at the rate of one hour per day. I've made similar trips, and worse, many times and can attest that the inevitable "hitting the wall" isn't fun. I just hope it doesn't effect their play overly much, but it probably will.
