First, this is a nice gesture.  Secondly, this may be the first time in quite some time that a person has to pay someone to take their basketball tickets from them.  Lastly, what went wrong (besides letting Beilein walk?)

Jesus Christ. How many times can this be beaten to death already. JB turned 71 on Monday. He was 67 when he left Michigan after coaching there for 12 years. He left in May after an NBA opportunity opened up. NBA jobs don't open up before then unless you're fired mid-season, which he was not going to leave Michigan mid-season. By all accounts, he seemed a little burnt out of college coaching and knew that his time at trying to coach at the highest level was dwindling. Not too many NBA teams are hiring first time NBA coaches damn near their 70s. He took a shot late at life at probably a dream and after he was a little discontent with the state of college basketball. People have free will and agency. Sometimes they do what they want and no one else can control it. Even if he had stayed, the likelihood of him continuing to coach at his age is not high. There's only 5 current NCAA coaches over 70. Coach K hung it up at 76.

I guess. JB had been a lifelong college basketball coach who had just gone to the national championship game in 2018 and left in his 60s to take over a hapless NBA team with a bunch of egos and divas. I'd rather put up with college basketball recruiting than deal with that. If I were him, I would have either been at Michigan a few more years with Wagner, Livers etc. or retired right away. If he got the Celtics job or something it would be different. Coaching the Cavs post LeBron doesn't seem any more fun than being at Michigan. You have absolutely no shot at success in that organization.

Burn them. Nobody should go. I'm not usually one for silly walk outs but, if they're really bringing Howard back next year, don't even show up.

Howard and his walk ons can go it alone

Sounds like the basketball team is making kok feel kind of unexcited.  Perhaps even flaccid in his fandom.  The games are only entertaining about half as long as most of us would like.  And they just leave us wanting more at the end.

I wish I lived closer my 8-year-old would love to go to a game at Crisler. The 7.5 drive from Southern Illinois would be a bit much. I was shocked to see the spread was -5.5 for Wisconsin.

Well done to the team to pull out a huge result.  Hopefully whomever got the tickets had a fantastic time.  OP, you are hereby obligated to give away the remainder of any tickets you might have.
