I have triplets who are 6 years old, and they can be really evil. Truth.

I really enjoyed Lost; it's one of my favorites of all time, only behind Breaking Bad. I'd suggest you give it a try if you have any interest. I was watching about 3 episodes at a time and couldn't get enough, especially the first couple of seasons.
I also enjoyed The Office, but watching the last 2 seasons or so felt like a chore.

I'm going to replace a 10-year-old Honda Pilot in a couple of months with another SUV with a third row. The last three vehicles we've had have been Hondas, but I haven't been happy with the Pilot or Honda's poor response to my concerns. So I'm exploring all makes for this purchase.
I'll buy new (probably sifting through this year's models once next year's models come out). I'd love to see your good or bad experiences with recent similar purchases, so please share if you have any.

It sounds like I picked the wrong guy to help me coach a flag football team.

I just bet my balls... and shook on it.
Lots of good quotes. And I've always been a big fan of the Adrian Zmed finger point, so I try to use it as much as possible.

This happened to my wife with our first; I don't know what I saw, but it was definitely something from the inside that was laid on the outside for a while. I just kept smiling like a lunatic, behind a mask, so it probably didn't matter. I didn't want to see it--but I really didn't want her to see it, although I'm guessing she couldn't see it even if she wanted to.

Note that this advice should cut both ways. My youngest are triplets; after the third of them was born, the doctor said, "And now for the fourth...."
I laughed, but only after a second or two of terror.

Congratulations to you. I have four boys, and prior to them, I'd never changed someone's diaper or given someone a bottle, or anything like that. My plan when my first was born was simple: Watch how the nurses do everything. They're pros. This worked perfectly, except the first nurse to change my son's diaper stood down by his feet when she changed him. So a few hours later, I did the same thing, and he peed all over me. After that, I watched the nurses closely, but I always changed diapers while standing to his side.
If all else fails, just relax. You'll get better and more experienced every day. Do your best. Love your ladies and enjoy the moment.

I grew up in Ohio, and my dad was an Ohio State fan. So I became a M fan. The earliest teams for me featured Jamie Morris and a guy named Harbaugh.
My kids are M fans; I'm using their rooting interests as a barometer for my parenting skills in case I inherited my self-awareness skills from my dad.

I lurked there until around the RIch Rod search, as seemingly most legit inside info they had there was just coming from MGoBlog. And I didn't care for that site's owner's maturity/control issues when he interacted with posters. Much better here.
I thought I'd slowly connected the dots as there was a younger poster who did a good job of interacting and posting info.

He might be #1 on my list of guys I don't want to play poker with, as I like the idea of keeping my money. And I think he'd pass a lie detector test regardless of what was asked and what he answered.
Best of luck to him in basketball and beyond.

He's a great example of hard work paying off. He's changed his body since he arrived on campus, and his contributions now compared to last year are like day and night. I love his shot and his effort, and he's proven he's a clutch player multiple times this year.

Huggins is a fantastic coach. His players give everything they can on the court, and they're fun to watch. I've only rooted against his teams when they've played M.
His dad was a legendary high school coach in Ohio, and I attended his basketball camps when I was growing up. I learned more from Charlie Huggins in a few days than I learned from my high school coaches in four years.

I doubt tickets will drop significantly; Kentucky advancing likely keeps it as a strong ticket. And the arena is a great place to watch basketball; I really doubt there's a bad seat. We were in Section 210 (balcony) yesterday and the view was great. I suggest sticking to the sidelines so you don't have to look through the basket and shot clock, but that's my advice for every basketball game.
Last thing: Avoid the professional scalpers. The Indy scalpers are aggressive in general, and the prices I overheard outside the arena were outlandish. With Lou and Kentucky, it's a seller's market. Find a M fan with extras or go through a reputable site so you don't have to worry about fakes. Good luck!

PSA from Indy: Dayton fans are pouring out of the Fieldhouse right now, before the UK game even starts (and there are a lot of them). If you're looking for tickets to M's Sunday game, there might be a good window on the resale market before UK probably advances and drives up the price in a couple of hours.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||I just realized that it is||
I just realized that it is almost 15 years to the day that I was first angered by Crean. I picked Marquette to win the tourney that year, and Crean, Dwyane Wade, and company lost to Tulsa in the first round--in the first game that tipped off the 2002 tourney.
I crumpled up my bracket and threw it to the floor in STL; it probably sat there until it was swept into a box and moved to LA last year.
About 15 years from now, he's going to rise up and anger me, but today, I smile.

Tom, you know what you did!
Tip for any small school looking to interview Crean: Don't make him wait too long in the lobby; the dude will wear out your carpet with all that pacing.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||I regret that I only have one||
I regret that I only have one "FUCK YES" for my response.
The team was going to miss the tourney and was called soft by someone from Illinois. Then, M became one of the hottest teams in the country, survived a scary plane crash/incident, and rolled through the B1G tourney to take the championship. This season could have been a terrible disaster on and off the court; I've never been prouder of a team and how it handled everything thrown at it.
Yes. Successful season already.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||It looks like the buyer fees||
It looks like the buyer fees used to be 15%, and the seller fees were 10%. So StubHub is getting almost the same spread with just buyer fees now; I'm guessing they're still charging seller fees, too, of course.
StubHub used to be more user-friendly; you could easily sort tickets with the fee amount included. Now they push the "best value" option, which has a lot of flaws, such as closer doesn't always mean better. I'm stupid, but I'd still rather figure out my own value. Too many clicks to undo the defaults when you just want to get the basic information.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||It looks like their buyer||
It looks like their buyer fees are a lot higher than they used to be. Fees are more than 20% now; they used to be 10%, I think.
