Now that we are firmly ahead of MSU in football again, I occasionally read RCMB to foster a little hate towards them. I'm to the point where I barely care about them anymore and I need to remind myself how awful they are.
I need a couple more victories to claim to be firmly ahead of MSU. By far I think that Michigan will have the better team over MSU any given year. But the Michigan/MSU game is Dantonios super bowl every year and he will do everything to knock us off. I will only be comfortable with the MSU game when Michigan puts up a streak of victories against them or Dantonio leaves.
I agree, those guys are slippery...they always (of late) manage to be “in play” till the very end of the game, we can’t take our eyes off them just yet....
From what I've seen, Staee fans don't see it that way. I think they're in denial that Harbaugh could possibly be any better than Dantonio.
Yeah they are in denial. They have a thread on RCMB predicting wins for the season. Their over under is 7.5 in Vegas, and they are all predicting double digit wins. The pessimists are predicting 8 LMAO .
Also, some like to call Michigan, University of Michigan Ann Arbor (UMAA). I think it is supposed to somehow be rude, but I can't figure out how ? Like why would that be offensive ? Or am I totally missing the point on this one ?

What in the world does the last four years have to do with being ahead of sharty? This time four years ago Michigan was coming off a losing season and sharty was coming off an 11 win season.
Four years later how is each program trending? We have bragging rights and are trending way up compared to their slightly downward trend.
I don’t care about games that happened 2,3 and 4 years ago. I care about the most recent one and we won it, convincingly. I also don’t care to think about the rigidity of other posters or their significant others junk, but to each their own.

We arent firmly ahead of MSU at all. We almost always have talent advantage but the games are still dicey. We need to win a Big Ten title and beat them some more to claim that
I still don’t understand all the confidence on this site for the upcoming football season, particularly the MSU game. I am under the impression MSU has a terrific defense, which on paper, is better than Michigan’s when you factor in starting experience.
I hope I’m wrong about that. I appreciate any Space Coyote level analysis that says Michigan is loaded and ready to ruin MSU type teams. But I sure don’t see it.
probably because sharty was terrific on defense last year too, and our extremely average offense was able to score on them and beat them in their own stadium.
