Blame the idiot that put it there.

THE Jon Horford?
|5 weeks 3 days ago||I don't get it.||
Can someone please explain?
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Here's my question||
It doesn't look like our offense has really changed much from last year, so
|7 weeks 2 days ago||I share your optimistic potential||
But have come to realize that no matter how much talent this team has, Hoke's staff does not have the ability to develop them or get them motivated to play consistently. I keep expecting them to step up every week, but they just don't. I was Hoke's biggest supporter for the longest time, but even he knows he's done. Watch the interaction with Dantonio at the end... He knows
|7 weeks 2 days ago||I don't think the team||
Likes Hoke as much as you think. See the letter to players a few weeks back and there was no mention of Hoke or any coach. I've heard rumors (granted, just that) that some of their guys are tired off getting hurt and losing so much. At some point even a player realizes something is wrong. I think the evidence for that is in their lackluster attitude.

|7 weeks 4 days ago||Great points||
This is very true about Michigan. My question is whether the powers that be understand this situation and also get that the "Michigan Man" meme hasn't worked. I get the feeling they still have their heads up their...
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Yeah I saw that interaction||
And wondered what that was about. Maybe Hoke telling him it wasn't nice?
|7 weeks 4 days ago||With these kinds of performance as the norm||
Why wouldn't we want to fire Hoke now? Got to be better than carrying him through the season.

We also saw how offenses suck. One is less painful than the other.
|8 weeks 6 days ago||I played basketball in||
I played basketball in college(small school no one has ever heard of) and I played much betterin games than practice. I practiced hard every day, but there was just something about hanged that brought my emotion out. My coaches thought I was crazed lunatic during games. My percentages were definitely higher than practice, so I understand that some people play better in games than they do in practice.
|10 weeks 13 hours ago||My brother knows an OL's dad pretty well||
He said Hoke is too stubborn about manball and punishes the team with a hard practice in pads on Sundays if they don't play well. He also said the players are losing interest in following him. Take it for what it's worth, but it seems Hoke's days are numbered.

Number 5 on Brian's list of things Brandon has done right. He may have screwed a lot of things up and this doesn't wipe those away. But what a great move to get the team sent off on the right foot. I can't imagine how this made the guys feel.
|11 weeks 16 hours ago||Possibility?||
I saw one of the mods' (Seth??) Interview of Todd Howard. In it he lavished high praise on Brady Hoke. What are the chances that just Brandon is gone after this year and Hoke remains given all the support he had from former players? Also, what do you think the chances are that Brandon has too much input into what Brady does? It's the only logical reason I have that he hasn't turned Michigan around after doing so with two other mediocre programs.
|11 weeks 1 day ago||That's interesting||
So did Hoke and Nussmeier get into it or was that made up as well?
|11 weeks 2 days ago||Serious question||
Is it at all possible that Hoke is being railroaded by Brandon and thus made to look worse than he actually is? Could he just be following Brandon's lead (Walking into a presser without correct information) because he has blind loyalty? Maybe I just fell for Hoke's persona of a family guy through his tenure here. This is just ridiculous.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||Major problem||
Have we considered how this is going to affect recruiting? It's bad enough that parents and future athletes have been inundated with this the last couple of days, but I'm sure other coaches will use it to negatively recruit against us. This will get worse before it gets better.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||DB||
Is probably thing the media for all the attention his "Brand" if getting attention.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||Anyone else...||
Think this will cause more drama than it fixes?
|11 weeks 3 days ago||I want to know||
who it was talking to Morris on the sideline right after he was pulled. Was it a trainer and was he testing him for concussion symptoms?
|11 weeks 3 days ago||This has me puzzled as well||
If Hoke didn't know it's a major problem. If he did know and didn't say anything in the presser, it's still a problem, just not write as large. His lack of communication is hurting him on this one.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||I agree||
I like Hoke and think he is actually a good person and a good hea coach. He turned Ball State and SDSU around. For the life of me I can't figure out why he is falling apart so badly here. At this point he just needs to go.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||^^^^^THIS^^^^^||
|11 weeks 4 days ago||My point||
I don't think Hoke would be in AS MUCH hot water if he would have addressed specifics in the presser. His continual vagueness is worsening matters every day. People want specifics as to why this program is unraveling. When you don't throw them a bone and continually talk about how good they are in practice, how hard they work and we just need to execute it's going to make you look like you have lousy control, whether or not it's true.
Hoke looks like he's lost all control, and that's why he needs to go. It just keeps getting worse and his generalized statements are making the media smell blood in the water.
|12 weeks 3 days ago||Greg Mattison||
If I remember correctly, Mattison came to UM only because of Hoke. For him to stay it would really depend on who we hired. He probably could retire by now.
|12 weeks 3 days ago||DG||
I think DG is just really rattled from all the abuse he's taken the last couple of years. It's taken some of his moxy away.
