I think we won’t hear from Burke again. There are dozens of guys like him each year who have quick ascents and then go poof. Not sure Texas is the place to develop either.

Not exactly. Burke is a true pass rush guy. Moore is highly ranked, but he's more of an SDE than a true WDE. Still a great get, but so much of this defense worked because of elite pass rush.

Moore is a more of a Mike Morris type than Burke who projected more as a Hutchinson/Wormely type

On the surface. But Moore is more of DE/DT tweener, not an edge rusher. And we are already losing Henry. I think most believed Burke was way underrated and had huge potential.

He might be a long time UT fan and its his dream offer. If I was committed to another school besides Michigan, then offered last second, I wouldn't even hesitate flipping to Michigan.
Running out of the tunnel and touching the banner just one time would have been a dream come true.

Eh, IMO the surprising thing is Texas is really bad at defense and Sark is an offensive guru, so I don't see that changing.
If you're the late riser/high upside but needs development type of recruit, I kiiiiinda feel like hitching your wagon to Steve "I gave up 57 points to Kansas, let's see how I do in the SEC" Sarkisian is a surprising move.

Well, if so, good luck to kid. Home field advantage is always hard to pull. Even if the counter part won their division and are going to the CFB playoffs. At least go to one of the top two teams in Texas.

I don't believe this one bit. Yeah sure the kid is gonna flip to Texas, but no way Harbaugh went off on the kid. Especially with the flips we've had over the years, and this isn't Harbaughs first rodeo. You don't burn bridges in a school or community over one 3 star project who you just had on campus a week ago. Don't believe it.

I call bullshit on Harbaugh being an ass to the kid. We know for fact that Harbaugh has told kids to continue taking visits and see other places to make sure they want to be at Michigan. And we've never seen him blame a kid for anything, let alone 'dress him down' anywhere. No way he attacks this kid and destroys any good will with his entire school system.

And I entirely agree that it sounds like Harbaugh to say, "Explore your options" to me. As I said, Harbaugh IMHO the most Authentic Coach in College.
