It also depends on the reason for leaving. Isaac said he was leaving USC because of his mother's health, the distance from his home to his new school meant he had to sit for a year. Transfering because of homesickness doesn't get you off the bench. The reason for Asiasi's transfer is unclear, at least to me.

Infrastructure is not good just about everywhere in the US these days...

For me, as an alumni, it's MICHIGAN WOLVERINES forever, but if you're talking about where I want to live, having lived in five states and having three kids on the East Coast so I know how that goes, give me the West Coast ALL DAY LONG.

Family issues my ass. Kid was homesick, which happens to most of us out of state kids (and happened to me as well) but he took away playing time and a spot from a kid that wanted to be at Michigan.

I don't wish him any harm, but do not wish him well.

He should do well there and if he got homesick, he got homesick, hard to judge that and it may just be something he has to outgrow.

UCLA is getting a hell of a player and best of luck to him.

I said from day one, this wasn't a family issue or sickness. Yet people here were praying for his family. He simply wanted out. Nothing g more and nothing less. I do not appreciate him not stopping the talk of a sickness in his family. That wad cowardly!

Get your Degree, Devin, and stay out of trouble and away from injuries. It was a blast watching you, and it sucks losing you, but I hope everything works out in your life.

I'll root for him the same as I did/do for Ryan Mallett.  Wishing I had got to see him Blue through his career.

By all accounts, Devin Asiasi left on great terms with the Michigan family (he left a congratulatory note on Jay Harbaugh's snapchat of his proposal) and is still held in high regard by his former coach and teammates, so maybe the people here shit-talking him would do well to follow suit.

I just hope it was family issues and not "family issues" ( like Gibbons had "family issues) and Devins family issues weren't Fisch leaving for UCLA
