David Shuster - KFATA

Not sure if any of you see this American bastion of free speech absolutely FLAMETHROWING Pete Thamel on Twitter today but by gawd, it’s been glorious. Some examples:

He was so relentless that Thamel blocked him and in response he just leveled him.

The man has been going at it for 12 straight hours and we need to make our mission to see that he’s properly caffeinated, hydrated and fed so that he can keep on cookin’. I need this type of energy injected directly in my veins.

Appears Thamel wishes he was an alum. <Media embed on the fritz>

Associate of @PeteThamel says Thamel applied @UMich 28 years ago, got rejected, and went to Syracuse…thus the bias against UM. Sheesh. If true, talk about pettiness. Still, it underscores @UMich admissions made the right call in rejecting him. What a loser!

I saw a few of David Shuster's twiXtter posts several hour ago and followed him .  Been so busy here that I hadn't had time to take a look at any of his newer tweets, so I am VERY happy to get this update, OP!

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Michigan needs to absolutely curb stomp the pile of manure that calls itself Ohio state on nov 25th. Jim and team 144 need to make certain that it nukes OSU to the point that Ryan Day gets fired for being royally embarrassed on national television.

More from David Shuster on Twitter / X:

According to friends/contacts in Ann Arbor @UMich leaders have given @bigten extensive evidence of other Big Ten football programs engaged in cheating, violating rules, and colluding against @UMichFootball. #Michigan #OhioState #violations 1/ (LINK)

@UMich has also reminded @BigTen again there is no evidence in the CS actions that @CoachJim4UM knew about the scheme or took any efforts to cover it up. UM has also argued the CS actions didn't technically violate NCAA rules because the video people were not UM staff. 2/ (LINK)

According to one contact allegedly familiar with @bigten @Umich discussions, conference officials have admitted there is NO indication the signal intel CS gathered would have changed the outcome of ANY @UMichFootball game in '21, '22, or this year. #Michigan (LINK)

These were all put out by David around 6 hours ago.

Not sure if anyone can confirm / deny the veracity of these posts, but if they're true then they're absolutely huge and would seem to corroborate the efforts of the blog here in analyzing the actual NCAA rules and our minimal (if at all) violation of said rules. Seems like Ono and company are just getting started!

Meta: If media embed would work then I would've put the actual tweets in the message. Tried on Chrome, Edge, & Firefox from my desktop, and Chrome, Firefox, and Safari from my phone and every time the media embed modal would just sit and spin indefinitely. Apparently media embed is just straight up broken?

I have never had a Twitter account, but you used to be able to just look at a timeline of someone's tweets on a browser, which I did use to follow real-time updates for games or people with informative things to say (Seth, Alex, Scott Bell, Auerbach, etc)  Apparently now, you cannot do that unless you presumably have Twitter - going to someone's twitter is just random Tweets from random time periods so Twitter is basically inaccessible for me.

I am.... not sure whether to be annoyed at Musk for thankful for him doing that.
