Yes, he announced to all of us and we are going to try to keep it from you as long as possible. We also disabled all the search functions on the internetz so you will never find out who he picked or if he has picked yet.

It actually seems like a real 40 time, unlike these fake fake fake 4.3-4.4 40s that are being reported. considering his ranking on every major site, its apparent that his speed is at least comparable to other major recruits.

I call BS on that one. Speculated 40 times are getting more and more outrageous. The fastest cornerback 40 time at the combine this year was a 4.46! And oh yeah, Furman is being recruited as a linebacker. The fastest time for a linebacker was Aaron Curry at 4.56. The fastest period was 4.30 and Mike Vick "only" ran a 4.25 at the combine. There is no way that Furman runs a 4.19.

From what it seems he is choosing between Mich and WV right? What if he chose WV? How devastating of a loss would that be to us or RR? I am a huge RR supporter and this is not "one of those" posts. That would be a huge loss for us though, in my opinion, as we have been his #1 all season and he is the highest touted corner that we are after. Talk amongst yourselves....

40 speed is more important for safeties, as they are more often in zone drops and have to cover more ground. Corners can often mask a lack of speed with good technique, safeties cannot. If we're going to play corners with less speed, however, we need to have them play press (regardless of whether it's man or zone) on the WRs in order to re-route WRs and slow them down, greatly reducing any speed advantage the WRs might have.

I am a top official in the Nigerian government, interested in importation of goods into my country with funds that are currently trapped in Nigeria. In order to commence this business, I solicit your assistance to enable me to transfer into your account the said trapped funds. I have been delegated as a matter of trust by my colleagues to look for an overseas partner into whose account we would transfer the sum of $25,456,253.00. Please post your email address if you are interested in further information.

I got my first one of those a few months ago and I was like WTF? Side story I actually met a guy while interviewing for a job that had a friend that did those "hey we'll deposit a bunch of money into your account you just have to transfer it to this account and keep the difference". Apparently the FBI or CIA found him and said "wtf is wrong with you but hey it's okay keep the money".

Sam Webb said this morning on the recruiting round-up that "if my gut feeling (about Cullen Christian) is correct (that he's going to Michigan) then we will have a special guest on tomorrow's recruiting round-up." Sounds like plans may have already been made. And if you're not familiar, when Webb says he has a "gut feeling" it usually means he knows something but has been sworn to secrecy.

How he can be sworn to secrecy and then say "i have a strong gut feeling" which = "hey everybody he's going to Michigan". Wouldn't recruits stop telling him because they know he's going to tell everyone and their mother?
