No McCoy got injured otherwise Texas was going to hammer them. Texas almost beat the with a freshman QB.

Georgia will not blow out ND- ND defense can hang around with Georgia jsut fine and the ND offense can do enough to make it a spirited game. GA is not all that. Bama on the other hand...

OU still has to play Oklahoma St and Stanford still has to play UCLA next weekend. If they beat UCLA, they'll play them again in the Pac-12 title game.

which on paper looked like an awful pick but Yale was right in there for most of that game

I know! He just secured a slot on next year's show and he has Jimmy the Greek written all over him. The Baylor pick was priceless.

I'd love to hear all about how ND is going to recapture glory only to get their brains beat in by alabama.
November 18th, 2012 at 12:02 AM ^
Yeah I guess I dont get all the bitching going on. Alabama, the best team in the country, will likely win the MNC. I'm not interested in seeing KSU play ND for the title of luckiest team to win all their games and benefit from fortunate scheduling. Yes Bama's tactics are questionable, but that's up to the NCAA to crack down on. Until then we have no choice but to compete with them. The only potential catastrophe will be if Ohio somehow survives next weekend and we have to hear from them and the media about them. They deserve nothing.

Essentially, we're playing in the AP national championship game. Althought not for a shot at at, but if if we lose and what everyone expects will happen happens (alabama destroys nd), then ohio will win the AP.
This is a huge game. We have a season to ruin. Beat Ohio
November 18th, 2012 at 12:04 AM ^
That would be extra sweet to ruin the Buckeyes' AP hopes should all that come to pass.
November 18th, 2012 at 12:05 AM ^
Nah. UGA and Bama were both ahead of ohio in the most recent AP poll.

is Alabama the IRS in this case? Or are they the park owner who gets the park back after other people held onto it for them for a short while
November 18th, 2012 at 1:20 AM ^
Totally the park owner. #1 really belonged to Alabama the whole time.
November 18th, 2012 at 12:09 AM ^
Unfortunately, they will drop Oregon below Lsu, Georgia , Florida and FSU, so to make it difficult for them to rise back up.
November 18th, 2012 at 12:12 AM ^
FSU is ranked like 10th. Oregon is going to have to drop a lot to fall that far.

November 18th, 2012 at 12:15 AM ^
LSU wins over Arkansas + FSU win vs. Florida + Beaver win vs. Ducks + GT win followed by UGA win or Auburn win followed by Bama win + LSU win over ND = LSU national champs. This is obviously happening.
November 18th, 2012 at 7:33 AM ^
2 loss LSU will not be jumping multiple 1 loss teams. It is just not happening.

There goes Michigan's chance at an at large BCS berth.
November 18th, 2012 at 1:53 AM ^
This seems to have been thrown around as concensus, but are we sure Alabama jumps to #2? Why can't Oregon stay ahead of them? It's not unreasonable to think Stanford is better that A&M, and they took Stanford to OT with a boat load of defensive players out.

As you may know, Jerry Palm does an estimation of the BCS rankings every Sunday, and the link below provides his own data for all games played through yesterday.
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/rankings/bcs
You will note that the only two Big Ten teams in the Top 25, by his figuring, are Nebraska (14) and Michigan (19). The top five in this prediction are, in order - Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Oregon. We shall find out for real at 8:30 PM tonight, of course, but if this turns out to be the case, I guess we wait for the results of the SEC Championship game then and / or hope that USC can find its inner former self against ND.

Beat Ohio.
