Cissoko's Resurrection

Submitted by Blue boy johnson on
Everyone came over here to protect Boubacar from my psuedo character assassination, well on third day he rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures, long live Boubacar! After starting all 4 of his teams victories as a true Sophomore, Cissoko sees the handwriting on the Blog and calls it quits.

He didn't retire. Coach Rod benched him and he just waved his arms back and forth as though he had something to do with it.

Do you feel like you're taking crazy pills too? Apparently you didn't lay it on thick enough. You needed to say something like this: "Apparently Boubacar Cissoko is considering 'retiring' because whiny little bitchezz on blogs are complaining about him, even though he started four games as a true sophomore. Not really, losers! Cissoko totally wouldn't do that shit. GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!" [Insert emoticons]"

I have never seen such stupid, spoiled fans like ours lately who are getting all pissed off at a Sophomore while the team is 4-0. Give it a rest.... or just go root for OSU, PSU or ND where you will fit right in.

The number of commenters who couldn't see that the OP was joking. You all saw "the handwriting on the blog" and thought it was serious? Holy jebus. If you did not get this, put yourself on timeout and go outside for a while - the internets are rotting your brain.

What I'm saying, to elaborate, is that if you thought this was an attack on Cissoko you either a) didn't take the time to actually read all the words in the OP, because you were so excited to initiate Internet Indignation Attack; or b) your reading comprehension is at a sixth-grade level.

Frankly - I have no idea what the fuck the OP is trying to say. I don't know if he's joking, if he's shitting on Cissoko, both, or if he wants a donut. So, I don't really blame some people for interpreting whatever the hell this was as "anti-Cissoko" because it's just as plausible as anything else.

How the OP can possibly be interpreted as an attack on Cissoko. I really cannot see it. I can give you that maybe he was just drunk. But I'm pretty sure the point was to poke fun at both the commenters who are ready to throw Boubacar on the trash heap four games into his sophomore year and those who take the content of the message board way too seriously (i.e., Boubacar is so upset that people are being mean to him on the MGoBlog that he decided to hang 'em up.) It was a fairly neat effort, IME.

I posted WTF because I also couldn't tell the purpose of the post. I had no idea if it was a joke, if it was drunken ramblings, if it was a quote that had been modified from another user a few days ago, or if it was just serious. Most of the Boubacar stuff had died down, so I figured it might not be a joke, as why would someone just incite it to start again?

As I said - I can honestly not discern what he was trying to do. When I have no idea what the hell he's trying to say, it is, clearly, "up for interpretation". I wouldn't have come here and yelled at him, as I had no idea what he was saying, but I understand the interpretation of anyone on this thread - you included, because the post would be just as intelligible if he had written it in Esparanto.

I take it all back. After conferring with Stonum who saw similar handwriting on the Blog 1 game into his true Sophomore season, Cissoko has decided to persevere despite his malfeasance.
