Chris Balas Reporting that Michigan-Maryland Likely at Noon
I know that there is a previous thread on the subject, but this is the first Twitter report I have seen from a credible journalist.
I'm OK with this. Much better than the "not at all" option.
Hearing from a good source the Michigan game with Maryland is being moved to noon Saturday. Working to confirm with others. #GoBlue

According to weather.com, Friday is the worst day of the weekend. Joaquin will still be vacationing in Florida as of Saturday morning.

That I have DirecTV. No matter when they move the game, if BTN is showing it on some ALT channel I'll get it.
I realize not everyone can put up a satellite dish, but if you can, and you don't have a lot of thunderstorms in your area, it is worth it.

I guess it's a little bit of a bummer for Maryland as it was hyped as a "Black out" night game with new hand painted helmets and all.

Yeah it's a big falloff from a hyped boozed-up "Black Out" night game to a rainy noon game in a half-empty stadium full of Michigan fans. Not quite the same atmosphere.

In DC / Maryland at least we bumped Minny-NW off the main channel and off of HD.
Michgian-Maryland now occupies the main channel (715 / 855 HD on Comcast), and Minn-NW has been bumped to overflow without HD (714).
