I'd give my left arm to play for Harbaugh. He's just awesome in every sense of the word. Hail Hackett - that guy saved Michigan Football. As a fan, I'm forever grateful.

Then again at 6'3, 185...I'm likely a WR or FS, and I'd need that arm, right?

When I first saw that Chesson won MVP I thought of a few other names, of course (Rudock, Peppers, R. Glasgow, Lewis, Butt, in no particular order), but I think that's a testament to how big plays and great performance were "spread around" this season. Just look at Brian's "Trusted Agents" scoring this season.

But if you look back at Chesson's season, he MADE PLAYS. Huge catches, lots of TD's, the opening kickoff against Northwestern that practically sealed the game, the entire freaking Indiana game, and the blocking. I loved Brian's UFR where he notes that "here Chesson basically kicks a defensive ends's ass."

Congrats, Jehu.

The students/players have to begin to stay for their full eligibility for Michigan to dominate in football, basketball and hockey.

This is one of the biggest issues facing our sports programs.  The coaches (starting with Harbaugh) have to convince the students to get their degrees, stay in school, become 4/5 year upperclassmen, feeding in the superstar underclassmen (Peppers) as starters when appropriate until winning championships are commonplace.  I know the reality of modern college athletes and the lure of professional prospects... that said, Michigan needs to create legends of this era & memorialization will only come with trophies in the case.

Imagine having Peppers 3 more full seasons... if he stays, he'll have a B1G Championship.

Imagine every current Michigan basketball & hockey staying for full eligibility... this is the stuff of legends.

The players have to want to stay for themselves, for each other, and for Michigan.

The kids who come here may want the millions of dollar a year job rather than the no pay job they work now.  I understand your desire to have Peppers for 3 more years, but do you think that is in his best interest?  Imagine he stays three more years, but gets hurt on year 3 now he has by passed his millions of first round dollars for a job as a teacher.

That is a classically Harbaugh take on a very old expression, and like many of his interpretations, it shows you the level of competitiveness and the unwillingness to settle that underscores just about every aspect of the culture that he brings to the locker room. I might even use that one at work actually.

The MVP award could not have gone to a more deserving person. I met Jehu last year and had a lengthy conversation with him, and I don't think he could have been any nicer. Based on my interactions with him, I can say that he's nowhere near the football player that he is the person - and he's a hell of a football player

Don't go 5-7 and be a laughingstock of the B1G and he doesn't say it.

It's like Cam Newton's TD celebrations...don't let him score and you never have to worry about it.

Hoke has no one to blame but him and his staff. They're the ones that failed to meet expectations. If they met them, Harbaugh would never be at Michigan and Hoke would be leading Michigan to a respectable bowl game.

It's not Harbaugh's fault Hoke failed.

I wish Brady the best.

I get it b/c Jehu is not only a great WR, he was great on every special teams unit, save PAT/FG (I don't think he was on it; could be wrong.)

Blocked a punt, Had a KOR TD, excellent blocker...

However, the MVP has to be co-MVPs with Rudock and Lewis. We couldn't have played the D we did if we didn't have a lock down corner. Corners would've been Clark and Stribling, which would've been fine, but in our D you need a NFL level cover guy. Rudock has been sufficiently covered above.

Really need to win the bowl game and then I think the train will be on the right track. The bowl game is a national stage for Michigan to show people that the program is headed in the right direction.

Absolutely well deserved, Jehu. You played with the fire of a true champion game in and game out. It could not have happened to a better man. All due respect!
