I think it's a pretty safe bet that there will be more of this to come. They're looking great for 2017 recruiting, maybe even better than they hoped they would.

Me too, I also hate that speculation. Let's let events happen rather than try to name names. Frankly, Taylor hasn't looked around and he moved to a different school to up his level of competition, in my opinion he is doing everything he's supposed to, so it seems kind of crappy to be throwing his name around.

We all said that 2017 recruiting would be driven by the results on the field.  Now that those results are undeniable, you are going to see elite kids lining up to come here that weren't even on our radar.

The implosion of recruiting juggernauts like LSU, Texas, Notre Dame, and USC does not hurt either.

We have more interested elite recruits - a lot more - than we have slots for.

Sucks to see him go, wish him all the best.

It's not too surprising though. Lowest rated member of the class who was probably only ever going to end up at FB. If any team is going to recruit a FB it would be us, but I think Kerridge in his time and Hill this year have shown we don't need to recruit a pure FB and use a scholarship spot there. Either convert a LB/blocky catchy type or find a walk-on.

Hopefully Lasater finds a good place to land though.

Low ranking but as a fullback. Fullbacks are not ranked highly. He was #2 fullback on 247 so are we in for the #1 guy? Either way good luck to him. Preferred walk on maybe..

I started to expect this the more they've been talking about the LSU FB commit recruitment picking up steam. He's a teammate of our '18 commit Otis Reese and they will be in A2 together soon.

No chance both Lassiter and Taylor were both going to be in the class. Ben mason can play fullback. I think Michigan has a real shot at a most haul at Oline and wr.

Pretty much every kid works hard and loves Michigan. Not saying that any of these guys are bad players but if you start accepting commits from people who love Michigan but don't have the talent to play here you wind up in a MSU type situation.
