I don't know why they have remotes set up for Baylor and ND.

Someone should ask Pollack if Michigan St should be #1 if Michigan is #2. Twat.

Amazing that Michigan is actually being included in a debate about who should be the *1 seed*. Imagine 4 months ago being told that Michigan was going to be compared side-by-side with Alabama.

The idea that GA is in without question is ridiculous. They got hammered by the only highly ranked team on their schedule. There is a very legitimate case to leave them out of the playoff.

It's not really ridiculous, a 1-loss team in the sec should really get in, just as a 1-loss team in the big-10 has gotten in. Over the course of the season, GA was the best or second best team in the country.  The only team that could get in over them would have been ND who as others have noted doesn't have a great resume outside of the neutral field win over Wisconsin.  Then you get into 2-loss conf champions - Baylor, Pitt, no way those teams deserve to get in over GA.

I’m with you.  I don’t want to see a GA/Bama rematch either but GA just lost to the now #1 ranked team in the country, the most successful team in the last ten years, possibly the most dominant school in football history.  This is a very mild sin when you consider it was their only loss.  There are going to be many years when the two best teams in football have to play each other in a conference championship.  I don’t think you should be punished for playing a conference championship game against a top 4 team…especially when ND is sitting at home not playing anyone.  ND should never get in a CFP until they join a conference.

Let’s be honest, if we were Georgia fans, 100% of us would be arguing that we deserve to be in the CFP even after yesterday.

Blah. More slobbering all over the SEC brought to you by ESPN and the committee.

Almost like the Auburn- Alabama and Texas A&M- Alabama (hell, throw in Florida) games never happened.

160 years ago, Michiganders in the Iron Brigade didn’t fear going up against Georgians or Alabamans. We shouldn’t, either!
