According to @umichfootball:
U-M football players have voted Jordan Kovacs and Denard Robinson as captains of Team 133. http://pic.twitter.com/KrWFPzPF

I know there is a tad bit of vertical exaggeration, but Kovacs has forearms for days.

This comment is dynamite. Had to log in just to compliment it.

I have a feeling it might be Kovacs and Robinson.

Kovacs and Denard

It's official. It's 16 and 32. That's weird that there's only two captains. Aren't there normally at least 3?
August 26th, 2012 at 9:34 PM ^
nope, there can be anywhere from 2 to 4.

There are always at least two - one for offense and one for defense. If there's three, that (I think) means that there was a tie, or at least a close vote on one side of the ball.

Couldn't be happier. Jordan Kovacs is one of my favorite sports stories of all time.

Kovacs and Robinson.
I like this a lot ...
- Robinson because he represents the clearly talented athlete who nevertheless pursued the path of humility and dedication to purpose, and
- Kovacs because he represents the initially under-appreciated athlete who pursued the path of diligence and perseverance.
There's a beautiful symmetry to that. It's what sets Michigan apart from other schools where lesser ideals are celebrated.

You can't possibly do any better than Denard and Kovacs to continue the tradition of great Michigan men as captains.

I'm gonna guess Michael Ferns and Anthony Lalota. I know what the official UM AD tweet said. Just not buying it.
