Brian Cardinal
Aaron Craft
Neither as dirty as little bradley though
Draymond Green is probably even dirtier - which is truly disgusting
February 14th, 2021 at 2:33 PM ^
Not sure if you guys saw the call on Hauser yesterday for MSU. Dude bowed a guy in the face, but it was behind him. It was a basketball move. Davison looked at Smiths chin and fucking rocked it on purpose. The slow motion does an excellent job capturing that it was not a basketball move, IMO.
I know we go through this all the time with targeting, but if you’re going to call “excessive contact,” we just saw it.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:08 PM ^
I never really thought of Craft as a dirty player, although he was grittier than a grit sandwich.
February 14th, 2021 at 4:10 PM ^
Yeah, I remember him being super annoying but I don't ever recall him being dirty. He's just get lumped in with the other 'gritty athletically challenged try-hard white guys'
February 14th, 2021 at 5:46 PM ^
Generally agree but the intentional foul Craft applied at the end of his last game at Chrysler (iirc) was ridiculous. He got there late for the foul and still threw the Michigan player to the ground. So when it was time to foul I thought Craft took the gloves off and dished it out in despicable fashion. But gritty he was and he had a sweet steal move that I appreciate. OSU can keep him.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:09 PM ^
Was Craft dirty?
I remember him being an annoying AF try hard, but not dirty.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:14 PM ^
No, he wasnt. He’d subtly grab and bump you, but nothing that was outright dirty or likely to hurt you. More like old man ymca moves ans not egregiously dangerous/dirty.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:18 PM ^
That Grayson Allen dude for Duke.
February 15th, 2021 at 2:26 AM ^
Staee probably wishes they could also count their win this season over Duke in the B1G standing, but no.
We're only considering dirty players in the Big Ten.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:32 PM ^
Draymond Green in college wasn't all that dirty if memory serves me right; he wasn't some beloved player but he was reasonably skilled and won NPOY largely free of a reputation. All the ball kicking and the antics started up in the NBA.
Craft was also just gritty and annoying but not necessarily a dirty guy; I'll give Matta credit that most of the guys I disliked from those OSU teams were just annoyingly good, not your Wisconsin types who just hurt people when they get frustrated.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:33 PM ^
Looks like we are developing a top 5 list. I agree with everyone on your list. How about adding the refs who didn't have guts to make the call.
February 14th, 2021 at 4:10 PM ^
February 14th, 2021 at 9:38 PM ^
Craft wasn’t dirty. He was just a real gym rat of a coach’s son who also just so happened to be a real student of the game, complete with deceptive athleticism.
February 15th, 2021 at 4:15 AM ^
Yeah, he was a great defender and film room junky with lots of hustle.
February 14th, 2021 at 2:26 PM ^
Rgard's mom is dirtier. Didnt play in the bigten though that I'm aware of.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:20 PM ^
She didn’t play with your big ten?
February 14th, 2021 at 3:41 PM ^
I really like this little thing you two have going on here. It's so gosh darn cute!
February 14th, 2021 at 2:28 PM ^
Our society is now one in which shitty people doing shitty things face no consequences, so I can’t really blame Davison. He’s a piece of shit, and he’s leaning into it.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:05 PM ^
Has been the case for all if human history.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:24 PM ^
At least in the last few days all the shitty people have lost.
February 14th, 2021 at 4:25 PM ^
I didn't realize Davison was that old . . .
February 15th, 2021 at 4:18 AM ^
He’s in his 6th season with the Badgers. I believe he will be coming back for a record 7th season next year due to COVID rules.
February 14th, 2021 at 2:28 PM ^
He’s the dirtiest player in all of college basketball since that asshole at Duke who went around tripping people all the time
February 14th, 2021 at 2:28 PM ^
That would be 50 shades of Grayson Allen
February 14th, 2021 at 2:41 PM ^
Niiiiice. And VERY unsexy.
February 14th, 2021 at 2:56 PM ^
Grayson Allen is certainly the dirtiest player in the history of college basketball. Purposefully tried injuring a number of players.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:11 PM ^
davidson purposely tried to injure players. i've never seen a guy slip his foot under an opponent who is jumping. he's done that multiple times. i specifically remember one against minny (their best player) who was already coming off an ankle injury.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:30 PM ^
Was sweet poetry when Eli Brooks fell on a fast break and B-rad being called for the foul.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:49 PM ^
Allen is up there but Christan Laettner was a next level dirty jackass.
February 14th, 2021 at 5:19 PM ^
Laettner was also very dirty.
February 14th, 2021 at 2:44 PM ^
Maybe create a new Big Ten award, Dirtiest Player. Naturally name it the Brad Davison.
February 14th, 2021 at 2:55 PM ^
The "Dirty Davison" Award for assholiness & douchbaggery
February 14th, 2021 at 2:55 PM ^
I think that award is already named after Bobby Knight.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:06 PM ^
Thanks, Mr. 42. A much better name.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:22 PM ^
you mean the Dad Bravison trophy?
February 14th, 2021 at 2:54 PM ^
Dirty Dee is still dirty cause he’s Dirty Dee, dammit!!!!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:00 PM ^
Absolutely NOT!!!!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:01 PM ^
Basketball move,”only in Madison, Wisconsin!”
February 14th, 2021 at 3:14 PM ^
Now let's not be hasty. Perhaps at shooting camps in Wisconsin, they teach it.
"On layups, always be sure to swing your non-ball elbow fast and wide."
February 14th, 2021 at 3:20 PM ^
Even if it was unintentional, which I'm not convinced it was considering Davison's history, they need to protect the players and discourage leading with your off-arm elbow. Smith was almost knocked out.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:41 PM ^
That was my thought too. Have to discourage reckless play
February 14th, 2021 at 3:02 PM ^
Hell ya. What a second half
February 14th, 2021 at 3:03 PM ^
He and Grayson Allen are neck and neck. FUCK YOU DAVISON - and also thank you for firing the team up after your bullshit elbow.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:03 PM ^
No. No. And No.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:05 PM ^
He’s a bitch.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:05 PM ^
Nebraska's Teddy Allen gets a (dis)honorable mention
February 14th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
I was honestly hoping on that last rebound of the game Hunter was going to make a basketball move with the ball and rock D-Bag Davison in the face.
Also noticed after the game Juwan immediately went up to Gard and instead of shaking his hand pointed at someone on the court. Wonder if he made a comment about Bitch Boy Brad.
February 14th, 2021 at 8:19 PM ^
I hope he was saying, ‘Just a heads-up, I’ll be sending that video to the B1G HQ for further review.’
February 14th, 2021 at 3:08 PM ^
The Panasiuk brothers if we're going all sports. But basketball it's hard to top him, yeah.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:13 PM ^
ohio state had a lefty shooting guard about 25 years ago who was dirty. can't think of his name. but i don't think he would try to injure players like davidson. i think he's the worst i've ever seen in that respect.
