Happy bye week is halloween weekend, the last two MSU games being that weekend were stressed inducing. I couldn't be that sexy construction worker while being stressed at us settling for field goals.

- go to my son's final HS football home game

- go hiking with my daughter since this is the last not-packed weekend prior to her wedding

- spend extra time with my beloved wife

When my daughter called and said they were engaged and she wanted a fall wedding a year later I pulled up the UM schedule and said "if it's a Saturday 30 September is open since that is the bye week". They had a beautiful outdoor wedding and have been married 6 years. All about planning.

A lot of honey do’s that have been awaiting my attention.. getting the lawn / landscaping ready for winter.  And, getting ready for the final four regular season conference games.

Michigan has offered a player at a nearby high school - so, I may spend a couple of hours seeing him play on Friday evening.

Looks like a cottage get-away with the wife to the Lake Chautauqua area (the hockey stick-shaped "thumb" of the finger lakes in NY).

I am likely to tune into CFB downs/distances on gamecast. I don't plan to televise any games, though it's not hard to imagine that I tune into the broadcast for the OSU@UW game if the Badger mischief looks promising in the 2nd half.

I know exactly what I'll be doing Saturday instead of watching the Wolverines (and probably Sunday too). Spending the weekend with a backpack hiking. Around an acre or so. With 1,000 trees (I might be exaggerating) and 6.0x10^23 leaves (I'm probably not exaggerating that part). I meant backpack blower.

In the words of Sgt. Hulka, "I'm getting too old for this sh#t!"

Halloween daytime trick or treating at the nearby forum with our three year old. After that, we’ll take in the UGA-UF game with my wife being a UGA fan. In laws will be in town as well, and then after that we’ll have some friends of ours from Wisconsin over to watch the Wisconsin-OSU game while I put some brats on the smoker, fire up some beer cheese dip, and warm up some pretzels my folks sent me from their Asheville Oktoberfest festival.

Hoping if I make enough Wisconsin-based food, it’ll will Wisconsin to victory.
