Well they all loved him last year when he didn't drop every other pass thrown his way. They loved it when he was doing the O-H-I-O crap. It just seems like a bad idea to tell all the fans of the team you play for what ass holes they are. But really I'm still pissed at him for running to ESPN when RR gave the #1 to a freshman. If he was really concerned about it he should have talked to RR first.

i'm a huge, huge fan of braylon but with that said if he catches the balls he is supposed to catch i'm sure the fans would be able to look beyond his maize and blue past.

Nobody in Ohio would give a fuck about Braylon being a Wolverine if he'd played better. The guy's been mediocre at best this year.

You can talk all you want if you can support it with on-field performance. So yes, Braylon, shut it. Kinda strange... back in the day when he was singlehandedly destroying Sparty and others, he let his game do the talkin'.

I agree Braylon's still got some growing up to do (as do most people) but overall, he's a good guy who really has done a lot of charity work. He needs to have a bit more perspective regarding the relationship between fans and players, but I'd be pissed too if people were calling my parents names in public (per the link). His problem is probably that he feels entitled to fan respect similar to what he got a Michigan - he's gotta realize that along with that astronomic salary comes the fact that pro football fans don't really give a fuck about you in all but the rarest of circumstances. You're paid like a Blackwater mercenary, and the fans treat you like one. Anyway, I'd much rather have a somewhat conceited, media-hungry guy like Braylon around than a very quiet, seemingly respectful, gun-wielding yeoman like Marvin Thug Life Harrison. The media has strange priorities sometimes.

This "article" was written yesterday on the Cleveland Frowns blog: http://www.clevelandfrowns.com/2008/12/braylon-keeps-digging-seriously-… While it is an abject piece of garbage penned by some truck-driving hoser, some of the comments at the bottom are pretty good. A certain poster named "AF," someone I am personally acquainted with, got into a mini Braylon discussion with that blog's author in the comment section of the above-linked post. Start with the comment left by Cleveland Frowns at 6:09 PM on Dec. 16, 2008 and work your way down. "AF" kind of gets the blog's author to back off a bit, but the overall point is clear: there's a lot of contempt between Braylon and the fans, and it's probably not going to improve even if he returns to pro bowl form next season.

I have a simple solution for Brylan...quit dropping passes and the fans will quit booing. He is in the discussion for my favorite Wolverine of all time, however he does some weird things like this and the whole #1 thing that bring him down a notch. Keep donating money, keep working out with Barwis when recruits are visiting, catch the ball, keep your mouth shut and have a Merry Christmas Brylan...
