We need a 'scumbag Borges' meme

His playcalling cost us at least a quarter of the game, he won't be fired but he was terrible today.

Honestly look at the game. OSU made adjustments sure but it became obvious that when denard was QB he would run. Also we havent been able to run it up the middle all year, maybe against Illionis but thats it, so you do it agianst a better defense? Also you are moving the ball passing yet you go to the run? Borges should be fired.
OSU was giving us the game and borges gave it right back.

It was horrible. Stupid call after stupid call. Just horrible offensive coaching. Borges was the player of the game for Ohio.

Insanity is defined as trying the same thing over and over and expecting different resutls...Therefore Borges=Insane.

Ever heard of Denard Robinson? He had 124 yards rushing in the first half.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:21 PM ^
of the game way too often. Why not play Denard and Devin together? We were way too predictable in the 2nd half allowing Ohio's D to know whether it will be a run or pass just based on who was in the game. That was some of the most pathetic play calling I have seen in a long time and it absolutely cost us the game.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:18 PM ^
We should have won this game by 14 points or so if we were as versatile on offense as we were in the first half.

For the first time, I actually agree. He's just not a smart football coach. We were the better team, but the coaches did not put the players in a position to win.

on what grounds... he was awful today and except for a terrible Iowa team, when was the last time he called a great game? Made me sick to watch that second half... looked like the entire game against Alabama

First of many, and please don't chide the OP for making the post acting like you're above falling for firings. That was the most pathetic excuse for an offense in the second half and it had NOTHING to do with the players. Clearly out thinking yourself. I am so very disappointed for those players who gave it all and had their coaches let them down.

So predictable they might as well have printed the play calls in Braille and handed out copies to Ohio. I've defended him for two years, but this game was sheer lunacy.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:22 PM ^
Well this is spiraling out of control quickly.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:23 PM ^
This is pretty much exactly what it was like to have Fred Jackson as OC, for those of you who remember the 90s.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:45 PM ^
I wouldn't say that. Jackson wanted to establish the run all day. He would not have called an all-pass series. The results were unfortunately similar, though.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:23 PM ^
of Borges needs to understand that college football is a big money business. When college football coaches make big $$$$ like they do in today's game, they are under the microscope. It may be unfair, ut it's the reality of today's game.

This team was already only two mircale passes and FG's away from being 6-6. The Northwestern and MSU wins were about as close as it gets.

Hoke should be gone as well, dude has never won a conference title NEVER, meanwhile out biggest rival has a guy that has won not ONE but TWO national titles. What does that say about the hire? Also look at what Brian Kelly is doing at ND. Hoke was a panic hire and not the right one, I don't really see him leading us anywhere other than the capital one bowl. Feel free to give me negative points slappies but open your eyes and do you really want someone who doesn't even wear a headset to be the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. Horrible year and we got beat by every good team we played, can't wait to get spanked in the bowl game. Yay.
