What do you guys think the importance of winning the Big Ten Tournament is. Lets say Michigan wins out and Indiana finishes with the Conference title, Michigan goes on to win the BTT they will most likely be granted a #1 seed. But do schools even care about conference tournaments anymore, I feel like this would be a nice banner to hang. |

now that we are through the gauntlet of our schedule and still at #7, I think it is only up from here, to conclude the regular season, the conference tourney, and then the big dance. |

I'm not trying to be a jerk, although it may come off that way, all i'm trying to say, is for a team that hasn't won a conference title since 2003, is this the type of player we should be bringing in. Now i'm not saying win at all cost and sign a bunch of thugs, but there has to be someone better than this. I guess we will see what he does his senior year, maybe i'm wrong, but i will bump this thread in 5 years when this guy has barely seen the field. |

Michigan didn't even get Conley, so I don't really see your point. All I'm trying to say is, from google searched I get realitively nothing football related on this guy. I guess if they are offering him a grey shirt then it's not really a big deal. But it seems like this guy won't even be worth it. And I'd rather have Hoke spend time recruiting marquee recruits rather than Pallante. And sad as this is to say, Urban is going to KILL Hoke in recruiting in a year in year out basis, and no that isn't because OSU will allow more recruits that wouldn't get into Michigan; it is because he is a better coach and a better recruiter. |

Hoke will never lead us to the national title, we will be lucky if he even leads us to a big ten title considering he's never won a conference title. When you look at those programs they all recruit about the same as us but they just produce better talent and have better coaching. |

if 4 losses is not a bad season for a michigan fan then you have really low expectations. they lost all their big games and their best win was over a Northwestern team. We probably have the talent to compete with ND, Nebraska, and OSU, but do to lousy play we lost all 3 games. Plus the Big Ten was awful this year and its another year with out a conference title. 2003 people 2003 |

Yeah I'm a hater, I'm just saying it was a weak hire to begin with Urban has two national titles and Hoke has never even won a conference title.
