Best thing you saw: Week 6

Submitted by mi93 on

Welp...college kids, amiright?  As a fan of the game, a solid day of them, though my eyes can't take any more this week.

Non-M: YTM v. Free Shoes U was a crazy finish and would get my vote for best thing I saw today if not for the stunner in Norman.  30+ point dog Cyclones with the win over Oklahoma was pretty amazing, especially given the 17 point hole they were in.  Never under- or over-estimate college kids.  Just enjoy the show.

M: Holy smokes the D is good.  But I hate bye weeks.

What you got?

Sleep well.  Tomorrow's a new day.

I got out of bed this morning and the sun was out, and it was nice out.

That was the best thing I saw today. Every thing else was pretty much shit.

Well, I was right that MSU sucks?  Actually that just makes it worse that we handed them that game.  Seriously, -5 in turnover margin and a number of just idiotic nonsense and we still had a shot at the end.

That's as close as I'm going to come.

Defense remained solid. That's pretty much the only positive I took from it. Pretty sad when I'm actually looking forward to the lions game.

The first margarita.

A runner up would be every time I was distracted from the television at the bar, which I could not hear.

My understanding is that Drevno may call some plays but it isnt one dude calling everything since pep and harbaugh have a say in the play calls.

Get a guy like Joe Moorhead in there to take charge and get the hell out of the way.

Problem is, as an ex QB Harbaugh likes to fiddle with the O.  He can't let go where he needs to.

get 3 & out after 3 & 0, throughout and after the 5 turnovers in this game, and a below average offense.  And Oklahoma lost at home to Iowa Street proving college football can always be unpredictable.

Defense played well. That’s the best thing I saw regarding UM.

Despite the interceptions, I think O’Korn looks pretty good and gives us a chance in games considering our Oline is really bad.

Higdon looked great when he was breaking tackles.

...pouring out of a broken water heater and flooding the basement where I was watching the game. I'll be days trying to dry the carpet down there.

An ugly sight, but compared to the football I guess it was the best thing I saw.

My son waved at 5 pitches this morning and I started wondering if he needs to see an eye doctor. Then he crushed a ball over the left fielder's head for a double. Sports.

The crowd.

The worse the weather got, the more they got into it.

Unlike the Offense, they brought their A game.

Just like the Defense, they deserved better than the outcome they got.
