Hey Syracuse. Really? You have interest in the ND defensive coordinator? Are you watching this game?

C'mon Bama. You got time to break 50 points

McCarron is hardly just a "game manager".

This game has changed my opinion on McCarron.

Our D only gave up 34 points - we threw a pick six. And we threw another INT that was returned inside our 20, setting up another Bama score. ND's defense is getting abused considerably more severely.

With that TD, Alabama is now literally responsible for about 70% of the total offense in this game to this point (502 of 735 total yards). It doesn't seem like "Roll Tide" is fitting in this game, but more like "Roll Tsunami".

Most lopsided BCS titles games:
1999: Virginia Tech loses to Florida State by 17.
2001: Nebraska loses to Miami by 23.
2006: Ohio State loses to Florida by 27.
2011: LSU loses to Alabama by 21.
It was nice having the Buckeyes hold the title for worst loss but I don't mind them passing the baton to Notre Dame.

I know it was vacated but still...

Vacated. That's what happens when you buy players.

With what Mark Dantonio is doing up in EL, it won't be too long until MSU gets the baton.

It doesn't matter, but we will end up discussing it here on this blog. His colleagues on ESPN will also talk about on air. It is just something to talk about.

So does Lou Holtz still say ND is #1 after this game? I'm sure he can think of a reason. I tried to come up with a sarcastic reason and got nothing, but that guy has a BS in BS.

Are you not counting USC 55-19 v. Oklahoma in '05? 36 points is what we're looking for here. We're at 35 now with ND driving. COME ON TIIIIIDE!!!
