Over at the Bills' home on SBNation - Buffalo Rumblings - they provided the following opinion at the end after disscussing Branch's non-attendance for the offseason program and his failing of the team's conditioning test:

"Given this latest development, and Branch's status as a veteran, it would not be surprising at all if he were part of the team's first round of cuts this coming Tuesday."

I know Branch was rather upbeat when he first signed this extension, but he's apparently been buried somewhere in the third-team defense, according to Buffalo Rumblings. I know he didn't come in until late in the 4th in their preseason game against the Steelers, so tht could very well be true.

The Buffalo News has what little Doug Marrone was willing to provide in terms of comments here as well - LINK

or attend the offseason program, his days in the NFL are probably over. Nobody's going to want an old DL who can't keep his shit together.

Only one purpose of for drinking alcohol in a land of 1,000 different drink selections... to get drunk.

I will probably get downvoted a gazillon but so be it. Refusing to drink keeps you out of trouble with the law; keeps your from damaging your health over the long term; you will carry less excess weight; and you never have to worry about poor judgment calls due to intoxication.

I do hope Alan Branch gets a second change although it will be costly. I loved watching him play especially in 2006.

He then made a poor decision under the influence. If he was sober I bet he wouldn't have made that choice. I would recommend setting up a driver before you drink. It seems to work for me.

I'm just pissed he got arrested before I could get all high and mighty on my sparty friends. I had yet to talk trash about Mr. Le'veon "DUI for being high" Bell, now Branch goes out and gets into trouble. Alas, I'll have to resort to the good ole stand-by's.
