That's why you shouldn't make hasty decision or get caught up over silly losses during this season.

It will be the silliest mistake the AD would make to fire a coach during a season that doesn't mean much to begin with.

The significance of the season has nothing to do with how terrible and inept UM has looked, especially when past predictions on issues with roster, coaching, etc have fully come to fruition despite people seeing it from a mile away, all the while the head coach has done nothing to fix the glaring issues with the program. The trend is clear and it's not going to magically get fixed by giving Harbaugh more time, especially when recruiting tanks from either shit performance or a lame duck staff.

You seem very certain of that.  If it wasn't a silly season, Ambry and Nico would be playing. Also, we would've had the last 2 games against tomato cans.

Spending the off-season planning for a tough game 1 makes sense to me.  As does their usual plan for development afterward... this is a new QB, new OL and CBs got bumped up a notch.  DT hasn't been as bad as the doomsday prediction and CB has an obvious reason for why it got worse.

Are you dumb or just a moron?  Michigan wasn't coming close to a championship this season when they lost their entire starting offense other than the backs, Mayfield and Ronnie bell.

You are whats wrong with michigan fans that you literally thought michigan was going to compete for a conf title this year.

Let me guess what you will say...

If Harbaugh isn't winning championships now then he should be fired..

Newsflash, no one is beating Ohio state anytime soon in this conference

Harbaugh claimed his team wanted to play and were ready to go 6 weeks ago. How did COVID affect Harbaughs ability to field a competent team? Or give his qb the best chance to win? Or recruit better athletes? Or teach the young CB how to defend the deep ball? Or stop jumping offsides? Or sack the opposing QB? Or have a playbook for the 2 minute offense? Not waste 5 minutes for 15 fucking yards! It amazes me when trolls like this claim to be Michigan fans and yet want our program to stay in the dirt while our rivals are laughing their asses off not to mention high school players when they get a scholarship offer from this sad coaching staff.

It will be the silliest mistake the AD would make to fire a coach who in year 6:

  • is 0-5 vs OSU, and in the last 2 we have gotten DESTROYED
  • is 3-3 vs. MSU
  • best road win is against #20 ranked Northwestern
  • 1-4 in "meaningless" bowl games
  • has not gone to the B1G championship game, let alone win a title
  • has high numbers of defections of players
  • can't develop a solid qb for more than 1 season

Yup, he is a keeper!

I said firing Jim Harbaugh this year in a meaningless season is stupid to because it is.  The supposed best team in the west (wisconsin has only played 1 game) and so many teams have cancelled games or have player opt outs or whatever silly reason.  So we lost to msu and a top 10 indiana and the sky is falling?

We didn't have a full practice season, players leaving, players injured or whatever so we can Jim fucking Harbaugh to hope for a decent coach who may not want to even come here?!?!?

So you want to cancel Jim Harbaugh during a pandemic?  Give him the benefit of the doubt and his full contract.

Michigan State didn’t have a full practice season and their coach didn’t even get hired til mid February.  The last time they had a recruiting class in the top 5 in the Big Ten was 2016.   They lost to Rutgers and got destroyed by Iowa, yet they beat us.    Pandemic or no pandemic, the on the field results speak for themselves.

This is the best case scenario for LSU. Or at the very least, it’s best case scenario for Ed Orgeron. They would’ve been absolutely ground down into a fine paste by Alabama, and whatever remained would’ve been thrown into an incinerator and turned on full blast. They definitely would’ve lost to the tune of 68-17.

Alabama can’t beat LSU if it can’t play LSU.

Man, I know he just won a national title, but Coach O has looked like the biggest dumbfuck in the sport this year regarding Covid. He basically admitted that they let the whole team get covid out of some misguided idea that it would give them immunity, and now they've got a second outbreak. What a dumbfuck.

There is plenty of competition when it comes to dumbfuckery related to Covid  In the spring, nationwide hospitalizations peaked at 59,940 on April 15.    In the summer they peaked at 59,718 on July 23.   They just hit 61,694 today and they don’t look like they’ve peaked yet.

The challenge is not the stupidity of an individual coach, it is that all across the country we are having a severe outbreak of a highly contagious virus.

I was hoping some (all) remaining Michigan games would be cancelled on the account of being horrible. Maybe even some retroactively.

Apparently, and unfortunately, this is not a thing.

Well, there is always Washington / Oregon State for a bit of Pac-12 After Dark once our game is in the post mortem phase, if anyone wants to see Turnover Chainsaw stolen and used against its own team.

BTN offers a ranked Northwestern team playing Purdue in the 7:30 PM slot, if you just want to skip the pain altogether, of course.
