Indiana is not a good team, but unlike us, they can exploit the area Sparty is weak in - the young and confused secondary.
October 24th, 2015 at 3:46 PM ^
You got that right. If they can carve out MSU secondary, this is anybody's game.
October 24th, 2015 at 3:47 PM ^
They're doing it so far . . .
October 24th, 2015 at 3:53 PM ^
Hopefully, it continues all afternoon.

Wow. IU can throw the ball. MSU secondary is not very good.

Very possible that Indiana catches MSU with its chest all puffed up. As I type this IU just scored the first TD of the game.

7-0 Indiana. That was easy.
*Sigh* Why does every team I watch have better QB than us?

Not looking past the rest of this season obviously, but this past spring, the "big QB battle" in spring ball was Malzone vs. Morris.
Next spring should be slightly different!
Jake Rudock is a miserable QB, but it's not his fault there seems to be nothing else behind him.
October 24th, 2015 at 3:51 PM ^
I take it you did not watch Nebraska/Northwestern. Yikes.
Anyway, I expect State's d line to force enough stops for Cook to exploit the shitty Indiana defense, but the Hoosiers will put up some points here.

Nor does it hurt to have receivers who were born with stickum hands.

Is the highest rated QB in the B1G

I've yet to see a QB today over whom I'd take Rudock.
In his defense though, I didn't watch the Clemson vs. Miami game; I'm assuming I'd take Rudock over anything Miami has!

this week all the talk of Michigan having a letdown in their next game but actually I believe sparty might be ripe for an upset. They know they didnt deserve to win and they are facing the #1 passing offense in the bgtn.

It won't be a cupcake game for us, that's for sure.
October 24th, 2015 at 3:54 PM ^
Michigan defense will shut down Indiana. I dont think they will able to move the ball just look at what Michigan did to BYU.
October 24th, 2015 at 3:54 PM ^
But their defense is horrendous.

If IU can get Cook to make some mistakes, then this game will dicey for MSU. Come on IU.
October 24th, 2015 at 3:52 PM ^
Indiana has no defense is the thing. All MSu needs is a few stops in this game.
October 24th, 2015 at 3:53 PM ^
Rutgers showed what to do against MSU. Blitz them. That is all you can do... They did in the first drive. Let us see if they can sustain.

has the #1QB, #2WR, and #2RB statistically in the B1G. Sparty is going to get tested, and probably beaten, today
October 24th, 2015 at 3:56 PM ^
Their special teams have had issues as well.
October 24th, 2015 at 4:09 PM ^
but Sparty does not match up well with Indy's strengths. Time will tell, unless these damn monsoons only come while the Hoosiers are on offense
