Players' not player's. The Michigan difference.
Yep. This wasn’t an essay submission. We’re not in academia, but you are so so so much smarter. Yep that fits the worst part of Michigan alum.
edit: you gonna say something about alum? Should be alumni right? Eat a ____ could be either. Alumnus is possible. Are we talking about one person? Just. So dumb.
Eat a steak and drink a glass of milk**
finished it for you 😏
I agree

But never 🍔 cheeseburgers.
.
Too soon?
you’re complaining about the OP correcting his own grammar
Yes, I am the worst part of Michigan alum because I corrected my own grammar.
Jesus, dude. Go take a nap.
Well in his defense he was sticking up for you against…..
Checks notes
You.
We are often times our own worst enemy.
Are you suggesting that only in academia is correct grammar necessary for effective communication?

Was it "necessary" here? Seems pretty effective if everyone knows exactly what OP means. I'd argue correct grammar does not change the way this sentence is interpreted in any way whatsoever.
All that being said, yes, The Michigan Difference TM.
Are we still allowed to use the word “the”?
August 3rd, 2023 at 10:51 AM ^
It depends on what the definition of the word is.
Necessary?!?! Is it NECESSARY for me to drink my own urine? NO! But I do it anyway because it’s sterile and I like the taste.
I'm sorry he hurt your feelings.

You are one of those people who give products 1 out of 5 stars reviews, then say you absolutely love it, aren’t you?
August 3rd, 2023 at 12:40 AM ^
This is a brilliant piece of performance art. Bravo! 👏

You're bashing the guy who corrected his own mistake?
Show me on the doll where your english teacher hurt you.
All weight gain is good and all loss is good. Amen
I hope so for Ismail. He’s a 260+ lb linebacker …
Hopefully that's just the first step in turning him into Jaylosh Harruche.
I think he's an EDGE instead

Inshallah
….and the creek don’t rise
I'd say the same thing about Hinton tipping the scales at 340. I get that you want your OL to be immovable when the play calls for that, but we run a lot of blocking schemes which require mobility, too. I've always been wary of OL that get over 320, although there are always exceptions (Onwenu comes to mind).
Yep. Also, Onwemu had the density of a collapsing star so I think any weight comparisons with him are a bit unfair to mere mortals.
Hinton was unlikely to break into the starting lineup this year anyway but if he's really pushing 340 that feels like a sure sign he's got a year of S&C ahead to him to rebuild his body.
All weight gain is added muscle (good)!!
All weight loss is fat (very good)!!!!!
Edit: beat me by two minutes 😂

So when I gain weight, I'm only getting stronger?
Cool.
Well, I have been eating more.
Hinton up to 340lbs, wow
August 2nd, 2023 at 10:08 PM ^
We say all weight gain is good. But this dude just might have his own gravity field.
August 2nd, 2023 at 10:15 PM ^
I would not care to look up and see him headed my way.

Maybe he's switching to DT to pair with Grant in a double planet package. Worked well for Georgia.
That might be bigger than two planets. That's two suns of Tatooine.
Those first four ... wow (in a good way, unless it was all donuts).
Moore's pass-rush ability must be considered his principal feature.
Pretty shocked at Moore’s drop. That’s a lot. Hope he can still hold up to doubles
Why would he be taking on doubles? He plays EDGE, not DT.
If he's taking on doubles, Mason Graham is going to lead the country in sacks from an interior DL.
FYI - Aidan Hutchinson was listed at 265 and Ojabo was 250.
I was thinking TE/Tackles doubles, but admittedly he probably needs to prove more of a star before that happens. I just expect that to happen, but was hoping that happens.

Moore was quick last year this year he is even going to be quicker and he gained strength in the weight room all while Losing fat.
Also Cabana is 198lbs which is great not a little guy at 180lbs.
K Grant is down to 339lbs all while getting stronger also losing that high school baby fat and adding man strength muscle equals great improvements.
Kris Jenkins now at 305lbs and is stronger and quicker then before. A 20lb gain from last official weight

I wish they had people on staff who paid attention to things like that. What a shock it must have been for them to suddenly discover Moore had stopped eating.

Josh Uche
David Ojabo
now…Derrick Moore
Derrick Moore at 258? HOT DAMN that sure is some good weight lost. Guess we're expecting him to be the speed rush type of edge rather than the heavy edge (forget what we call each one now)
I'm looking for a big year from him.
What you're trying to say is...
Derrick Moore at 258? HOT DAMN that sure is some good weight lost. Guess we're expecting him to be Ojabo rather than Hutchinson.
Feels like he’ll be able to be the lighter EDGE DE (Think Harrel last year) on typical downs and the bigger Edge (Morris) obvious pass downs.
Junior Colson looking big. He's going to be scary this year.
I'm officially in "I'll believe it when I see it" territory with him.
With that said, I believe I'll see it this year?
Maybe of a little of that Prescott Burgess, takes awhile to put it all together.
And for all the "bUt He hAd 100+ TaCkLeS" people...whatever, that's great. But the hype and expectation on Colson isn't 2nd team B1G, 5th round draft pick. It's 2nd team All-American, 2nd round draft pick (or better). He's good, but he has the potential to be Devin Bush levels of amazing (in a different way). Being Desmond Morgan, Ben Gedeon, Kenny Demens or even Josh Ross...isn't good enough, IMO. Colson should be a "dangerman" with the star and a bullet.
Keep in mind he now has one of the best LB coaches in the country
As long as he doesn't lose speed... Don't go rogue. Be the defensive captain. Lead by example. Him and the Nebraska transfer have me feeling safe about lb
