Roman Wilson Has Committed To Michigan Comment Count

Michigan adds their first Hawaiian in a minute:

Wilson burst onto the scene when he attended an Opening Regional and lit up the testing with a 4.37 40, a sub-4 shuttle, and a 39-inch vertical at a six-foot-even. He was the Alpha Dog per 247:

Roman Wilson - Hard to argue that anyone else had a more productive showing than the St. Louis (Honolulu, HI) receiver. Ears perked with great interest as word was going round that he ran a laser-timed 4.37 forty yard dash, and then he finished the camp with the top Nike SPARQ score of 124.59. His athleticism carried over into drill work and 1-on-1's, as he was simply too explosive for the competition.

He's also the Hawaii state champ in the 100 meter dash with a 10.6.

In the aftermath of the camp bust-outmost of the Pac-12 offered, along with Nebraska and Wisconsin. Family ties to Michigan won out over the prospect of a shorter flight and Michigan has its first outside WR prospect in the 2020 class.

Chris Olave is a perfect and also recent example.  Only a 3 star recruit but he has the speed to torch any secondary in the country.  He had a very productive freshman season last year and is expected to continue the wondrous tradition of speedy crossing route assassins that OSU is blessed to have every year.

Perfect for Gattis's offense.

What's bothersome we got caught flat-footed with Olave and the mesh routes, as if we didn't scout properly.  Meanwhile, dantoni andnoau seem to know our players better than we do..m the one best thing that Bo did was know his opponent and I do believe that we haven't kept page with osu on that.

All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system, and public health, what has the Roman ever done for us?

- A 4.3 laser-timed 40??

Oh, shut up...

Is it possible that there could now be too much speed for the space? After all if guys are moving this fast theoretically everyone could be in the same place at the same time.

At first given this picture above I thought he looked like a possession receiver, hard working, overcomes limited talent, a Wes Welker type. Then on looking further I realized he's the super fast naturally gifted outstanding athlete type.

I misread "six-foot-even" as "six-foot-seven" and thought his measurables were freakishly outlandish.

Looking forward to seeing Roman doing #SpeedInSpace stuff.    Welcome to Ann Arbor!

Looks like he'll fit in extremely well with the Gattis offense.  He'll need to hit the weights when he gets here, but you can't teach that kind of speed.  Welcome aboard Mr. Wilson!

When I saw the message board hello I looked up his 247 page and I thought it said he was 5'9" and was a little bummed.   The six foot even was manna from heaven.  Looking at his 247 page again it says he's the 59th WR.   Whew!    With a 4.37 at 6 foot tall he won't be 59th for long.
